Good Sound, Bad Earbud Tips

I had a pair of Pixel Buds Pro and the XM5s blew them out of the water. There is one big issue. The earbud tips are made of foam and none of the different sizes fit in my ears. They easily fell out while walking around. Since the tips contain the protective wire mesh, switching the tips out leaves the buds exposed to earwax and other debris. For an item that commands a premium price, I shouldn't have to figure out a workaround for the eartips not fitting correctly.

The sub bass is a little lacking though. Excellent noise canceling and the ambient noise passthrough sounds very natural to me. Overall these are my favorite earbuds so far.

We are sorry if you are experiencing an automatic Bluetooth connection when your headphones are placed on your pocket. To avoid this problem, please ensure that your headphones are set into the charging case correctly so they turn off automatically before putting them into your pockets. Put the left headset unit (the headset unit with the tactile dot) back into the left hole of the charging case, and put the right headset unit back into the right hole of the charging case. Each headset unit will be set to the correct position in the charging case by the built-in magnet. You may also try cleaning the contact points on the charging case and earbud headphones to further isolate the problem. For more details, please refer to the following links:

Case sucks

We're sorry to hear you're having issues with the call quality. That's definitely something we take seriously, and here are some troubleshooting steps that may help:
1. Make sure the earbuds are worn properly. Hold and rotate the headset unit with your thumb, index, and middle finger to adjust the headset to fit your ear.
2. If there is a gap between your ears and the headset units, your ears may not be sealed properly. Try the different ear tips included with the unit and Perform [Determines Optimal Earbud Tips] on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app and confirm that [Earbud tips are air-tight.] is displayed.
3. Make sure the earbuds are updated to the latest firmware through the Sony Headphones Connect app.
