Sound is phenomenal! Noise-Cancelling feature works really well, kicking in automatically when you or someone around you starts to speak to you!

I own the 700 series from Bose and the Sony’s outclass the 700 series in sound,noise canceling,ease of use! They are incredibly comfortable and the sound is quite unbelievable albeit on the bassier side but I like it that way. Don’t be like me and wait to buy these!

Not the best for cutting out crowds

This silver color is very aesthetic to me then I finally took the risk and bought them. After owing these for a week there are two things I'm a little disappointed about Number one: The noise cancelation is a 7/10. While it's really good at blocking out low noises and hums it doesnt really block out large crowds (granted, the picture I took at my high school.) If I do want the crowds to be blocked out I have to turn them up a lot. Number two: The ear cups feel a little small at times especially when it's really hot in Florida but all I have to do is adjust the headband. Other than that I would recommend these to a friend or two. 7.1/10

We understand your disappointment that the Noise Cancelling is rated a 7/10; while our HD Noise Canceling Processor QN1 excels at blocking consistent, low-frequency sounds (like engine hums), high-frequency, sudden noises (like chatter in large crowds) are inherently more challenging for any noise-canceling technology to eliminate completely, often requiring a volume increase for masking. We also recognize that ear cup size and comfort can be difficult, especially in hot climates like Florida, and we're glad adjusting the headband helps you achieve a better fit. Thank you for still recommending the WH-1000XM4 to friends!

The noise cancellation on this headphone is top notch. I’ve read reviews stating this doesn’t connect to two devices at once or that the multi connections doesn’t work well but I’ve not had an issue with that at all. I’ve also used this with FaceTime calling. For some reason it there was a slight lag in the headphone connecting for the first two times, but afterwards it worked just fine. They’ve also been tested in making reels for IG and worked just fine. The sensitivity on the speak-to-chat is a little high, so I’m looking into tweaking that if possible. I can cough and it picks up the sound. That may work for some and not for others. I’m still exploring all the features but so far, I’m really satisfied with my purchase. *The charging cord is not shown but its not a very long cord. I suggest getting a separate charging cord for this device. That’s not a deal breaker for me. Its just a cord but totally up to the purchaser based on their individual needs. *I may update later once I’ve used my headphone for more than six months.

I do suspect the left ear cup swivel assembly will degrade in a year or so, but for now, the plastic doesn't creak like the WH-CH520 that I had before. The sound quality is phenomenal, but when I turn on LDAC, there is an occasional dropped packet, when my phone gets unlocked, or if I switch apps. If you have a larger budget, I would go with the Sony XM5, because the swivel mechanism might be a bit more durable.

Worth the Money.

I'm super satisfied with it because I need up sitting near a crying child. Totally worth it. I use it every day, from my train ride to work to the gym. Who needs Apple AirPods Max?

Down to the sound quality, to the noise cancellation, and even the touchpad to switch music, pause music, answer and end phone calls. These have become my favorite headphones to this day, one of the things that caught me off gaurd is the 360 audio, having listened to many different generes of music, listening to my favorite songs and music artist and realizing how much it really effects the music was outstanding. 100 out of 10 purchase would definitely get it again if these ones ever broke.

The noise canceling works even before you play any music! I live in a really loud house and these drown out the sounds so good!! Not to mention that the features are super easy to use and you can customize the sound through the app. You get a really nice case with the headphones, as well as a cable if you don’t like them to be wireless. The only issue I have is that whenever I call someone on my I Phone, the Bluetooth disconnects, but it’s not too much of an inconvenience to connect back to Bluetooth through the call. These are so good and I highly recommend them, I’ve never been in so much peace!

I don't know if that's just a me thing and just found out I have an extremely small head, but its annoying. Second con: the full noise cancelling isn't as good as I expected it to be. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was hoping that I wouldn't be able to hear anything. No birds chirping, no dogs barking, no roaring of fans or airplanes. But I can. And yes, I made sure the headphones were on the noise cancelling setting, AND I did the noise cancelling personalization, which actually made the noise cancelling worse. Pro: I like that you can personalize the instrumental. It really gives more life to the music than other headphones! Pro: aesthetically, I think they're very cute. I had bought these for work, and I was looking forward to tuning out my loud office (and noisy roommates) but alas, it doesn't really help with that. I mean, the headphones DO have good sound quality, and the noise cancelling isn't bad at all, it just didn't live up to the hype! I even looked into it to see if it was a me problem, but Sony states themselves that there are some noises that won't be cancelled out. So that part was on me, which is why I give them a four instead of a three. Still a good product!

The noise canceling function works primarily on noise in the low frequency band such as vehicles and air conditioning. Although noise is reduced, it is not completely canceled.
