Q: do the pads sit on your ear or around it? i have piercings and don’t what them to get irritated.
A: I bought these headphones today because of the responses to those question, so I wanted to come back and contribute. The cups rest right outside of my ears. My ears are average size and I have an industrial in one ear (short bar, no excess bar in front or behind) and a helix piercing in the other. Thus far I haven’t experienced any discomfort or pressure.

A: In most cases yes. Depending on how your setup is. My upstairs neighbor is the same, and I rarely, if at all, notice it. You will notice vibrations though if your building shakes a little like mine. My kid can run through the living room pretty loudly and it cuts most of it out.
