The Best Noise Canceling Headphones I Own

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the WH-1000MX3 for about a year and a half and I can say that these WH-1000MX4 are not a huge leap from the previous model but still the best noise canceling headphone I own. It has a few new features from the previous model but if you can get the previous model on a good sale deal, then take it. These are great but wouldn't pass over the model 3 for them if I could get the model 3 at $250 or less because they are the same headphones with maybe a 10% difference. If both are the same price get the model 4 but if you can get a deal on the model 3, take it.

Great Deal for great headphones

They’re exactly what I was looking for. The noise cancellation works really well and they have great sound. People would come in and out of my office and I had no idea. I never tried the new Sony line of the noise cancelling headphones but I was pleasantly surprised. However, I feel like using them to talk on the phone is not so good, the other person has trouble hearing me when it is noisy around me. Also it comes with a bag and an airplane adapter and a cable which is very convenient.

If you often need to take calls in busy places, trying to find a quieter spot or adjusting features like Sidetone in the Sony | Sound Connect app can sometimes make your voice clearer for the other person.

Amazing on long flights!

You turn on noise cancellation and you can still kind of hear the sound of the plane. But when you put on some music and turn up the volume, you can't even hear the plane. I'm not even over exaggerating. The quality is decent. Nice plastics are used. It is a little pricey but depending on who you are, totally worth it.
