Great noise cancelling, but can't use lying down

It has great sound quality and noise blocking, it really helps me block out my severe tinnitus (ringing in your ears) The only issue I have with this product is that for some reason it randomly turns off when using it while lying down and continues to do so after you keep turning it back on. Not sure if I have a faulty device or that just something that happens... But this headphone is worth it for me because of how great the noise canceling is!

We are glad you like the noise canceling of the headphones. Unfortunately, we do not recommend using headphones while lying down because wearing detection may not work properly, and the touch sensor control panel and CUSTOM button may not be available for operation. More details:

I will admit the XM4 were not my first choice and solely due to price. I was trying to stay at around the $200 mark but man I am glad I ended up with these! They sound AMAZING! The only thing I would change is improve the ambient sound quality but other than that everything else exceeds my expectations!

The noise canceling and sound quality coming from these headphones are really great and the included carrying case and aux/ flight adapter really top this pair off.

Great sound but cheap feel

You would expect nothing less from Sony. The only real issue I have with these is the build quality, the plastic housing gives them a real cheap feel. However, thus far they have shown no degradation or apparent wear and tear.

Pricey, but so worth it

Blows away Beats.. I had the XM3's but returned them after trying the XM4. Better fit, microphones, and ability to connect to (2) bluetooth devices simultaneously. I use them for my iphone & Mac simultaneously, meaning i can easily switch back & forth. HTH

I tried my son's set and decided I would like to have a pair. The BT pairs well with my Laptop, TV, or Cell phone and the app on my phone controls which (up to two devices). Updates have gone smooth and the charge on the battery lasts a long time.

Best ANC Headphones

The XM4s fixed that. Comfortable, best audio, easy to use. Slightly disappointed with the microsoft teams and zoom quality as it doesn't use the stereo codec but that could also be my fault.

Very sweet noise-cancellation.

It works similar but not that extreme. I used these to study in Starbucks during heavy traffic. It does well in blocking, enough to concentrate and still be able to faintly hear your named being called.
