Spectacular headphones, not so good shipping.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have no complaints when it comes to these headphones, except, the right bud will occasionally give-off staticy noise almost as if a person was blowing air into your right ear. This only happens when I have used ANC for long periods of time. Aside from the headphones, I strongly recommend not to purchase similar products from Best Buy, especially preorders! The only reason I decided to purchase my headphones on Best Buy, was because they promised my headphones would be shipped the 14th of August, a full four days before Amazon. Can you guess what happened? Shipping was delayed, and I could not cancel my order, despite my numerous attempts. They finally shipped FIVE DAYS LATER, and arrived that Friday. If I had simply ordered from Amazon, my headphones would have arrived a day earlier, Thursday. Best Buy, be honest with your customers. Don't lie to us, saying you'll get us our headphones earlier, when you cannot. We deserve better than that.

For optimum performance, make sure to update the software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app). You may also find these steps helpful:
-Set the headset to “Priority on stable connection” mode using the Sony Headphones Connect app.
-Remove any obstacles between the antenna of the connecting Bluetooth device and the built-in antenna of the headset.
-Bluetooth communications may be disabled, or noise or audio dropout may occur under the following conditions:
>When there is a human body between the headset and the Bluetooth device. In this case, put the Bluetooth device in the same direction as the antenna of the headset to improve the Bluetooth communications.
>When there is an obstacle, such as metal or a wall, between the headset and the Bluetooth device.
>In places with wireless LAN, where a microwave oven is used, electromagnetic waves are generated, etc.
>Where there are other wireless communication audio devices or other people nearby, such as in train station premises or on a crowded train.

Resetting the headset
-Press both the (power) button and the CUSTOM button simultaneously while charging. The headset will be reset. The device registration (pairing) information is not deleted.
If the headset does not operate correctly even after resetting, initialize the headset to restore factory settings.
Initializing the headset
-Turn off the headset while the USB Type-C cable is disconnected and then press and hold the (power) button and the CUSTOM button simultaneously for 7 seconds or more. The indicator (blue) flashes 4 times, and the headset is initialized. This operation resets volume settings, etc. to the factory settings, and deletes all pairing information. In this case, delete the pairing information for the headset from the device and then pair them again.

The bass is the smoothest I've ever heard, and I was not very picky, but I will never expect anything but the quality I get from these! Would have spent 500 easily

amazing ANC

I have an iPhone and the pair to two devices at once works so much better than the NC700 as well. Now for call quality they are good but the NC700 does have a leg up on these. However they are still great.
