I debated between these headphones and the Bose 700 for many months. I bit the bullet when I spoke to someone in the store who spoke about his experience with these for the last year. I’m glad I listened. These are so comfortable and the noise cancelling is incredible. The audio quality is top notch, the automatic noise cancellation feature can be great when turned on. It will enable 100 percent when stationary and when it detects you moving it will allow all sound to enter to hear your surroundings. You can adjust the intensity of the noise cancelling on multiple levels and for multiple preset scenarios. Audio quality is consistent throughout every setting. I am someone who worked as an audio engineer for 8 years and this does not seem to color the sound of any audio. No extra bass, no harsh highs. Just perfect for comfort, quality, ease of use. Happy with this purchase and if you’re debating… don’t and go buy them!

I can't say enough great things about these Sony headphones! I did a LOT of research and analysis before making my decision. I compared the Sony with the Bose 700 and Apple AirPods Max. The price point alone was a significant factor in my decision. But there were other important reasons I decided on the Sony. The noise cancellation technology is excellent. I have used these on several plane rides and it cancels out all the background noise. However, when important announcements come across, the voice recognition technology allows for those important messages to come through. The sounds quality is what you have come to expect from Sony. Great sound and deep, rich bass. The battery life is excellent. And if you're running low, a quick charge gets you going again. Overall, these are exceptional headphones. My 2nd pair of Sony's and a great purchase for the money.

Amazing headphones. The sound quiz gray The equalizer is good especially when you put ANC on. You can't hear anything around you dead quiet would recommend for anyone who loves music or watching movies at home

Comparing this with my favorite headsets Beat Solo3, Beats Solo Pro, and SkullCandy Crusher, this Sony headset is the best! The noise canceling feature is very impressive. As soon as I turn it on, I hear a complete silence. No more buzz from my desktop fans. I love it! I can also walk away at least 3 times farther without losing signals or getting static noise. This headset is super comfortable. I think my head is slightly bigger than average women and the Beats headset just pinch my ears little too much. SkullCandy was nice, but the earmuffs were a bit bulky. I'm not into that Princess Leah headbuns style. This Sony headset is just right. Now I can stop looking for a better headset because I found one. I am hoping to find it in different colors. The color on the picture was a bit misleading. The actual color is gray and has no tint of cream. I was a little disappointed when I first saw it, but the headset itself is just amazing.

Love love love these headphones!!! High quality sound, extremely comfortable, nice accessories including a case and charging cord. Very comfortable to wear and even worked around the house without them slipping or falling off which happens constantly with ear buds for me.

These headphones are very comfortable and do an impressive job with noise cancellation. The sound quality is pretty good but not awesome. The bluetooth connection to my Samsung Galaxy S8 is decent, but could be better, but that's possibly the phone. Battery life is good. Overall I very much like these.

This headphone is amazing!! I bought this product while it was on a flash sale, and this was one of the best investments I have ever made. The headphones sit comfortably on your ears, the sound quality is smooth with a sturdy bass, and the noise cancellation is astonishing. The battery life is great too as it can last for almost 20 hours for me. I mainly use it for the gym, and I could go on without charging it for a whole week. With a built-in swiping feature, I am also able to skip through songs and hold down the headphone to muffle the music and listen to outside noise. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to buy nice headphones for a decent price

Really confortable and great sound that plays out these bad boy!

Excellent headphones. The noise cancelling on these is very effective and blocks out around 90% of surrounding sounds. The soundstage is also very wide and the base is very good. Battery life last for multiple days as well

These sound so good. Honestly the momentum 4’s have just a little bit more bass but these ones sound clearer on every aspect. For sale around black friday I got them for around $229 I believe which is a STEAL. I would invest in these honestly unless you have the money to get the XM5’s. Another cool thing about these is that they fold unlike the XM5’s. If you want a good pair of headphones I would go with these. You won’t be disappointed with the sound and bass. Also for more bass make sure you customize the equalizer on the app.

this headphone works great when you need quiet time for work/studying! I wasn't able to hear family members talk when I had the headphones on. I love the color and the sound quality is chefs kiss. long battery life as well and lightweight

These cover the ears, and there is no pressing on the ear. The noise cancellation is great, along with the overall sound quality

I miss them so much! I recently graduated college with my masters and love using them to study or simply being deep in thought with the ANC feature. However they were stolen. Now I only have the memories of studying together, getting ready for football games, long walks, and helping me with my mental health. Holding one hand on one ear cuff was a killer feature so I can talk and hear my surroundings. I highly recommend and I know the M5 may be even better.

Love these headphones! I previously was using AirPods and since I am constantly on video calls, it was causing a lot of inner ear pain. These were a HUGE improvement. They provide noise-canceling without hurting your ears and fit over my larger head and glasses. Totally worth the cost.

The sound quality is amazing. I my opinion, it's a really balanced sound. The bass isn't overwhelming, nice mids and highs. These made listening to HiFi music on Tidal a whole new experience for me. I'm not going to call these audiophile headphones but the sound quality for the price is really hard to beat. The build quality is nice and the app is user friendly. I'm already in Sony's ecosystem with my earbuds and I like the fact that it saves settings for multiple headphones/earbuds. The noise isolation is AWESOME! The ANC doesn't seem to have any effect on the sound quality unlike other headphones/earbuds with ANC. I noticed on my Bose earbuds, the ANC kinda messed with my equilibrium while the Sony's don't. IDK if that makes any sense but when I activate the Bose ANC it's like a similar feeling to ears popping on an airplane. I was originally thinking it was just between over the ear versus earbuds but my WF1000XM3's also don't, so it must be something Sony is doing different than Bose and others. My only 2 complaints are they aren't as secure on my head as other headphones. If I'm completely upright they're fine but if I lead forward or backwards they shift in either direction so working out with these is a no go and laying in bed with these is a little annoying. My other complaint is that they randomly turn off. I've chatted with Sony's tech support, done resets, but it still happens from time to time. Hopefully an update will fix this issue. It's few and far between so it doesn't bother me too much BUT it's still irking when it happens. I had similar issues with my WF1000MX3's but that problem went away after a few updates so fingers crossed. Overall, these are great. The pros out weight the cons in my opinion.

Amazing sound quality and super comfortable! The battery is also amazing! The only reason I took off a star is that the noise canceling is not the greatest. Even with all the settings optimized for the best experience, I still find myself being able to hear what’s around me. Additionally, I have been told that others can hear what I’m listening to even if the volume isn’t that high.

Great Quality Headphone that are versatile and comfortable. I use these headphones for when I play my PS5 because it comes with a aux cord. Not a lot of high quality headphones still have aux ports on their products, and I love that Sony still does. The sony app also does a good job of helping you EQ your sound, which beats JBL's app in terms of quality and function. I would suggest spending the money to get these headphones because they will last a long time. Sony makes great listening products.
