Lightweight and comfortable

I can wear this for hours comfortably unlike my apple headphones. The only downside is the touch feature to change songs and volume. I keep accidentally touching the side and it pauses the music. I prefer buttons.

The noise cancelling is one of the best on the market with remarkable sound quality. However, the touch controls can be a little to get used to and I end up using my phones controls most of the time instead, but if you just want really premium feeling and sounding headphones, these are not a bad pick

Upgraded to gen 4 to gain new features like pairing to 2 devices at the same time, auto pause if you take them off, and upgraded chip. The sound and comfort is amazing. Customizable EQ via Sony app. It was a choice between these and Bose 700. Decided on Sony because of past experience and most reviewers rank them higher than Bose. Plus they are less expensive. The active noise canceling is top notch. Bluetooth connection is rock solid. I haven't had any drop outs even at long distances from source. There is still a little work to be done to improve swipe controls: (not responsive in cold weather, sometimes it takes a couple tries to skip to next song or adjust volume.)

Best Noise Cancelling Headphones

Noise cancelling, sound quality, and comfort are better. Bluetooth 5.0 is so fast I don’t see any lip syncing issues when using with my PC or Apple devices. Very satisfied!

Can't Believe My Ears

My favorite has always been Bose Quiet Comfort, so I was somewhat skeptical about buying Sony. I am soooo glad I did, These are by far the best sounding headphones I've ever owned or heard. If you use any of the lossless HD streaming services, like Deezer, Tidal, Apple Music, or Amazon Unlimited, you will be amazed at the quality of the sound. Noise canceling is superb and offers features to quickly interrupt it when needed (just place your palm over the right earphone). Only drawback for me is ear pads can get a little sticky after prolonged listening. These are new best in class bluetooth, ANC headhones, IMO.

Great if you can pick it up on sale

I think Bose comes second to this because Sony's sound profile is crispy and dynamic compared to Bose's. One downside is the transparency mode. It's not as good as my AirPods Pros and I can hear the wind through it sometimes.
