They are comfortable, aren't too tight or too loose on my head, adjustable if needed. The battery life is great! They sound fantastic and the noise canceling is my favorite part! After updating the software it’s had been good so far.

Great headphones, and love the blue

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't sound any different than my old XM3's, but I'm not going to complain about that - still some of the better Bluetooth headphones I've heard. Multipoint alone was worth the upgrade, but the Best Buy exclusive colorway really sets them apart from the tired looking black on copper. The blue's very dark, wouldn't have thought twice if you'd told me it was a Massdrop edition. My XM3's suffered from cracks in the weak point in the headband, supposedly this has been addressed with the new model. Only time will tell. Only real complaint is battery life seems ever so slightly worse than the last gen, but it's still more than a full day of use.

The sound is satisfactory but far from impressive. It will sound amazing to the average consumer, but if you are not the average consumer and listen to HIFI or use a streaming service like Tidal, the sound is average, even with the AUX cord. Yes, these do support LDAC as well, and it is the same story. The XM4s are aimed at consumers with the increased bass right out of the box. Make sure you wash the back of your ears extra well because of how sweaty you will get wearing these in the summer.

Hard to beat!

Can connect them to two devices at once and it will switch between them automatically if one device stops playing and another starts, so they’re great for music/podcasts while working because they switch to my laptop whenever I get a zoom or teams call. They pair incredibly well with my Sony tv, which allows for great quality listening at night without having to disturb the entire apartment complex (or the spouse/significant other!). Got these on sale and can’t recommend enough. The noise cancelling is top notch too, and the Sony headphones connect app allows for incredible personalization of the sound settings.

A must for students and anyone who likes quietness

I bought them for my class since I kept breaking my EarPods (wired). I highly recommend, especially for students. I had construction going on right outside my window during my lectures and the noise cancelling blocked out the noise allowing me to focus in class including exams! In some occasions I would used them to take naps while construction was still going outside and I was able to sleep comfortably. I consider these headphones to be my BEST investment.

The Sony WH-1000XM4 shows just how good a high-end, flagship pair of headphones can sound. Did I say fantastic? FANTASTIC! Get these. No, really, GET THESE!! Or otherwise you will never know what music really sounds like. Now, all I have to do is decide whether to throw away my Powerbeats earbuds, or give them away. I know I will NEVER listen to them again. Not after listening to THESE HEADPHONES. Difference?? Night. And. Day. No wonder these are the top-rated headphones. Almost Perfect

When I remove the left ear cup from my ear, the track skips. 2. It's annoying having to adjust the ANC and Ambient Noise settings every time I power the headsets back on. Other than that, the cans are comfortable and sound great.

In the factory setting, the built-in proximity sensor in the left unit and the built-in acceleration sensors in each of the left and right units detect when the headset is attached to or removed from your ears, and the headset automatically controls the touch sensor control panel’s operation, powering off, pausing music playback, etc. (Wearing detection).
