Appreciated that it came with an adapter for airplanes. Only con is that I wish it could charge and play at the same time. Unfortunately it turns off as soon as you plug in the power.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the operations when the unit is charging. Unfortunately, using the headphones while charging is not supported. When the headset is connected to an AC outlet or computer, all operations such as turning on the headset, registering or connecting to Bluetooth devices, and music playback cannot be performed.
The WH-1000XM4 headphones keep you going with up to 30 hours of battery life plus you can get 5 hours worth of charge after just 10 minutes with an optional AC adapter. The WH-1000XM4 is a new design, with intelligent and intuitive Ambient Sound Control features that include improvements to Multipoint connection and our industry-leading Noise Cancelation, exceptional sound quality, and Smart Listening that adjusts to your behavior and location. It literally surrounds your head with all the depths of the sound. Was torn between this and bose but chose this for price and almost same specs aside from the clearer voices for calls on bose. Caveat is not for gaming or zoom calls, at least in my experience.

The noise cancellation is unlike other headphones as it doesn't have a weird affect on your ears. The sound quality is also exceptional. The only drawback I see is the volume isn't as long as some other headphones.

The overall volume may vary depending on the source content. Make sure to adjust the volume of the headset and source device. Reconnect the headphones again with your source device. It is also recommended to wear the headphones properly.

Use it with Discord and when playing games. Do need to adjust some sound settings in Windows, as usual to get the sound quality back up where it should be. After that great surround sound and noise cancelling.

The ANC is the best in the world really - helps so much with my life in the center of a big city. The sound quality is also superb. The only downside is that I cannot really sleep with it on my head, because if i turn to the right side when laying down, the control panel will be activated.

I had a previous version of the same headphones and the small additions that they have made are worth it in my opinion. Is it enough for a year-to-year upgrade? That I am not sure, but for those that are on 2+ year old headphones, this will be sufficient
