That said, the perception of bass can be quite subjective and depends on personal taste, genre preferences, and even how the headphones are worn.

Enhancing Bass & Sound Immersion
If you’re finding the bass a little light, try adjusting the sound through the Sony Headphones Connect app. Using the built-in equalizer, you can either select the “Bass Boost” preset or tailor the sound further by increasing the “Clear Bass” slider. This adjustment often provides the enhanced low end and immersion you’re looking for without sacrificing overall sound quality.

Considering the WH-1000XM5
The WH-1000XM5 is the next-generation model and brings various refinements in noise cancellation and sound clarity, along with a slightly different sound profile.
