Awesome Noise-Cancelling and Multiple devices

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have recently purchased this Headset for the Noise-Cancelling feature and it didn't disappoint. It is super comfortable and I can wear it all day and not even notice it. You can pair it to two different devices simultaneously, had a little trouble setting up my iPhone and Windows Desktop but once the firmware update installed it works. One downside in Windows is that it treats the headset as two different audio devices, a windows audio and hands free device, which cuts off my music when a call comes in in Windows. I wish I could hear the music at much lower levels when I do get a call, I have a much cheaper USB Headset that does this because it treats the audio as one device instead of two. Other than that I love this product, switching between devices is great. I can be listening to music on my iPhone and answer calls on the desktop and it will automatically switch back to my iPhone music when I hang up the call. Pros: very comfortable, awesome sound quality, and you can connect to two devices at the same time. Cons: not so easy to set up on multiple devices at first, windows treats the audio as two different devices and not a big fan of speak to chat feature, rather use the alternative of holding the right ear cuff to talk.

The only nitpick I have would be the volume is not the highest I’ve heard, but with the noise canceling that might be negligible.

Best noise cancelling headphones you can buy. Much lighter than the Airpods Max and more comfortable for long durations.

I got mine when it was over 100 dollars off so that's probably the only time it's worth it. No complaints with any aspect of the sound quality though. Touch controls are annoying though. Still an overall much better deal than the Airpods Max, especially when these are on sale.

Went back and forth between the Bose QC35s and the XM3s. Finally decided to get the XM4 based off other tech reviewers. They sound great, light and comfortable.

My music preference is jazz, so I like the clean sound with the tight bass (Sony does have products that cater to those to whom it's all about that bass). From top to bottom, my preference is (and I have all of these): 1. Sony WH-1000XM4 2. Bose NC 700 3. Sony WH-1000XM3 4. Bose QC 25 I do prefer the audible interface of the NC 700 and for that I use them exclusively for television and movies - for all else, it's the Sony. One thing I don't think Sony got quite right is the multiple pairing feature - for me it's been flaky when pairing with certain device combinations (like iPhone and iPad at the same time). Overall, I do recommend them.

After realizing how good a pair of solid headphones were I decided to try for the next level. Enter the 1000XM4. The clarity and bass in these really let’s that low guitar grumble and the app with the equalizer is a must have. I was shocked to find out most $300+ headphones don’t have an app that includes an equalizer. If you want great sound, awesome bass, & the ability to customize the eq to fit your type of music I highly recommend these. They really are next level. My only gripe is the sensor that is supposed to stop your music when they are removed isn’t working. I believe it’s a software issue that will be fixed in a future update. If not I’ll just exchange them for new ones because of Best Buy’s excellent exchange policy.

I've been eyeing it since last year and finally decided to purchase a month ago since it was on sale. It's my first pair of noise-cancelling headphones, and I was definitely impressed by this feature. Sound quality is great, and I find it's pretty user friendly. As someone who wears glasses, I found it was comfortable to wear and didn't make my glasses dig into my head, which a previous headset of mine did. Can't wait to continue using it!

Sound depends on what you are using

I wanted these to use with my boom mic in wired mode for voice calls, but still need to experiment I guess. I then tried connectimg to my galaxy s8, both wired and Bluetooth and found the sound to be OK, still using my s8 for work and music. I then paired to my s20 that I got about 2 weeks ago, and was blown away how much better it sounded than my old phone and wired to my pc. I guess it needs the advance Bluetooth codecs to really shine. They are super comfortable to wear and do an amazing job blocking noise. It is erie how much noise there is around you that you don't even notice until you put these on and take them off! I have a pair of philips fidelio l2 semi open backs that I got for $85 that sound as good, if not better. So if sound quality is your only reason for getting these, look elsewhere you can do better for cheaper. If you want good sound and features, based on pro reviews these are it!

She's been raving about the noise cancelling, especially when I'm playing games with my friends because I'm quite literally screaming. She uses it to dance and workout too and they fit perfectly and don't fall out even when she's moving around a lot. Looked up reviews comparing this model to the XM5 and didn't see much of a difference. She just liked the design of the XM4 more

Recommend for hyperacusis

The active noise cancelling is great and surprisingly adjustable through the app (which you need to download to use them). I wear these every day and they especially help in places that are loud or have a lot of background noise. They are comfortable and the battery lasts a long time
