The ears are soft and comfortable for long periods. The noise cancellation is great, as is the ability to switch back and forth. Over ear headphones get warm on my ears quickly, but I don’t think that can be helped.

She had them for years. Bluetooth on Windows 10 PCs can be a little inconsistent at times and so can the app on Android as it can be impossible to connect sometimes. The app is needed to change certain settings like EQs or touch controls. There are times where I have to unpair the headphones from my device, uninstall the app, then re-pair it and install the app again for it to work again as doing the usual turning off and on the Bluetooth on the phone or holding down the power button on the headphones to pair don't always work to get the app functioning properly. It can also be difficult sometimes to update the headphones to the latest firmware as it will not always download it right away even with automatic download turned on. Overall, these are a great pair of headphones, just wish the software side of things could be a bit better.

The noise canceling was what I expected outstanding. The quality of the sound was a pleasant surprise I knew the sounded good I listened to them in store but I had a chance to use them on a very long flight and I was amazed at the depth of the sound. I own a really good pair of B&W p7s and I really like their sound but the Sony set really were really quite spot on add the superior noise cancelling and this is my go to for using on flights.
