Was mowing the yard and I could feel the mowers vibration but no sound, the anc on there is outstanding

Junky headphones with too many bells and whistles

I wore them for 2 months, not even daily, and one of the ear cups snapped off just from removing them off my head. Sony warranty does NOT cover physical damage and they want me to pay hundreds of dollars to repair their poorly made product. On top of that any time you try to slightly adjust the ears, settings get messed up and your music will pause. The noise cancelling feature also kicks on and off at random times. These just do not make for a great listening experience and they are not well made. You're better off getting a cheap pair of SkullCandy. At least when they break you're not out $500+. Do not buy this product.

The warranty provided by Sony is for initial failures if more than troubleshooting is needed. This does not include any physical damage made to the unit. When i used the noise canceling feature all I could hear was the movie i was watch. Not one sound of the plane got into my ears.

I love this more than Bose because the noise cancelling is second to none. The case is very compact and can easily be hung on your back pack or carry on luggage for easy travel. The gold color looks very stylish to me and holds off stains very well (as of yet).

Get these over the xm5 due to the xm4 ability to fold up and fit in a smaller carry case compared to the xm5 that dont fold at all. Noise cancellation was great and couldn’t hear anything other than my music during my last flight. Only negative was the initial connection to my device. It took a little longer other Bluetooth devices I have and I had to download a Sony app. And love the Navy blue color.

Good replacement for last pair

I went with these after looking at other Sony models, mainly due to price and the specs I wanted -- wireless, noise cancelling, over ear. Talking features are great (noise cancelling turning off when you begin speaking), as is noise cancelling. These aren't as comfortable as my last pair, but do have a slimmer profile. Carrying case is a nice touch. Battery doesn't last nearly as long as my last pair, but given that these seem to have more going on inside, it makes sense.
