Old Sonys were better

Controls (sliding buttons) are hard to find while wearing. You have to remove from ears to hear someone talking because you cannot locate a pause or mute button. The noise cancelling is good, the sound if just OK. My old Sony earphones were better, but age took over quality. Next time, l will use immediately after purchase & return if like these.

Worth every Penny

Sound quality is what I expected and the noise cancelling is the best I’ve experienced. The only issue I run into is that my devices will randomly disconnect once and I’ll have to reconnect. After that there aren’t any issues. Love these either way.

EXTREME SILENCE

I almost exclusively use them for traveling especially planes. It keeps the lod plane noise out. I don't like flying without them. I'm also very thankful for the cord, as bluetooth and me are not always friendly.

Pretty Good Headphones with Slight Problem

The sound is great but the microphone interferes with sound when used. Example, if I use the headset just as music device (ex headphones) it works great. When using the mic (ex. headset) the sounds becomes less clear. We have resolved this issue by using an external mic. The headphones are pretty easy to use with computer (except for stated issue above) and cellphone. BTW, the sound proofing is great. I would recommend these headphones based on just that.

I had to go back and re-listen to all my old songs because they sound so different with these on. It's like hearing your favorite songs for the first time again. I got the silver color and this color is also pretty unique and neutral enough that it will match any of your outfits. 10/10 would recommend

Headphone Upgrade

However, these were tried on in the store and my niece and I both thought they were better than the newer Sony model and Bose. We both have Bose headsets and these Sony are equal to at least the Bose.

Perfect gift

Now I can enjoy reading or watching something on TV without being annoyed. The noise cancellation for him is superb! He could not hear the noise from laundry room nor the TV while listening to music! So this turned out to be a gift to both of us.

XM4 VERSUS XM5
