The sound quality, the noise-canceling feature, the controls, etc are all very good. The only reason it is not a 5-star is that the microphone is VERY bad. When I am on the phone with someone or in a virtual meeting, no one can ever hear me and when they do, the sound it very muffled.

Use the Bluetooth device to re-establish the connection. Select HFP or HSP for the profile.
Make sure to update the firmware of the headphones using the Sony headphones Connect app.

I have bought a pair of xm4’s before and in fact this is a replacement for those but my first pairs I had dropped and the right hinge swivel had broke and the right cup was just dangling, that was my fault that it broke, but this time I was just taking the headphones off and they broke, in the same way as my last ones..so I probably won’t ever be buying Sony’s again, they cost way too much to break so easily.

They have fallen from high places due to my work environment. I work in construction, zero issue with the headphones. Truly love them. Just wish I could every once in awhile replace the padding or somehow clean them a little better since I do sweat a lot while I'm working.

Decent purchase..still figuring it out

It sounds great and the nose cancellation is better than any other headphones in this price range. The only thing I'm struggling with is that sometimes it keeps pausing and randomly connects and disconnects automatically which is a little annoying. I'm not sure if anyone else has faced this of if just this piece is faulty.

Also if you cough or clear your throat. It can be frustrating. I have utilized them for watching TV, music and Video watching. They are comfortable and do not get hot too quickly. To turn the voice guidance on/off, please install the Sony | Headphones Connect app on your smartphone. Select [Notification & Voice Guide] from the Dashboard to set the notification and voice guidance to be heard from the headphones.
