We're happy your WH-1000XM4 headphones sound great, but apologize for the connection issue with your computer. This is often fixed by clearing the headphones' pairing history: please try performing a factory reset by holding the power and NC/Ambient button for about 7 seconds, and then attempt to re-pair with your computer.

They are good at being convenience headphones - good battery life, weight, durable, ANC, connection chaining. They aren't the best sounding headphones in this price bracket if thats what you want

A no for gamers, but overall good.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There’s an issue with these headphones that I can’t let slide, the Bluetooth 2-way audio sucks. If you like talking to your friends while gaming, the game will sound terrible. 99c earphones sound better than that. This is the same issue my $25 headset has, I did not expect this same one to arise in $300+ headphones. I’ve heard Bluetooth audio can be pretty bad in general, but I was hoping for it to be better. I wish I was aware of this issue before purchasing. Besides that, these are comfortable for people who have glasses, noise canceling is good, and the sound is great, battery lasts long.

Amazing Headphones

The Audio quality is fantastic. You'll be surprised at how amazing music sounds and you just want to listen to every song you know so you can see how it sounds now. It is super comfortable, has a good battery life, and comes with a great case. My only complaint would be the build quality as it feels a bit cheap

Great headphones

Easy to pair, great sound, supremely comfortable even with my glasses (this frames though). If something happened to mine I'd buy another pair, no questions. I use them with a variety of devices (iPhone, MacBook, Sony X900H TV, Switch) and appreciate that they include the option to run a wired cable. Battery life is strong, too.

Loving the noise-canceling, sound & battery life

These help to identify eqch scenario and cancel the background noise effevtively. I can do it either via the headphones on the side, or through the easy to use app. I made it through three separate airports with half a battery to spare on a recent trip north. I was also able to walk and talk via my phone with them on too, and had no complaints from the other end about background noise or static. I don’t use these at a PC for gaming since they’re bluetooth/nfc (they’re not meant for high speed gaming!), but they do connect to a pc as well as a tablet very easily, and the music / spoken word sounds great there, too. Good bit of kit for a traveler or wfh type user.

Great Headphones only one downside for me

The noise cancelling is fantastic. Music quality is great. The comfortability is great too. I can wear this for a good 4 hours or so and not be uncomfortable. Like most headphones they do get warm so you do have to take them off get a breather. The battery life is fantastic. The only downside I have is when connected by wire, the headphones do have their bluetooth connection turned off. So if you are connected to a xbox controller you can't connect to your phone over bluetooth. But other then that they are great.

Best and Worst All in One Pair of Headphones

Buyer beware. Pros: (when they work): Unmatched noise cancellation Decent call quality Most comfortable pair of headphones I've worn. I often use them 10 - 12 hours a day in the office. Great app and features Really good sounding with music, with customizations through the EQ. If you have a device that supports LDAC, higher quality wireless audio Great battery life Cons: Quality, Quality, Quality! It took three pairs of headphones initially before I got one that worked correctly (the first two pairs failed within the 30 day return window). My 3rd pair has recently developed a nasty bug that requires a warranty replacement. That's 4 pairs of headphones *in one year* I work in an open office plan, and these are my go-to headphones for comfort, noise cancellation and making calls. If they weren't soooo good when they work, I would have abandoned these long ago. Prior to owning these, I used the Sony WH-1000xm3 headphones for almost two years. That entire time I didn't have any issues, and they were still in great shape after 2 years. I wish Sony could figure out the quality issue on these. When they work, they are the greatest wireless headphones I've every used. However, when they glitch they aren't using even if they were provided at no cost. It's the Best and Worst experience all in a single pair of headphones.

Amazing Product

They feel incredibly comfortable on my head, even after using them for long periods of time. They charge surprisingly fast and last a very long time. The noise cancelation is really good and the sound quality is amazing as well. The included usb-c cable is a bit on the short side but having usb-c in itself is a great addition.

Best headphones I have ever owned!

I was never the one to splurge on headphones until I had a really long flight that I wanted to be able to sleep on. First off the music sounds incredible. I have listened to tracks that I love and have listened to hundreds of times and have noticed little nuances of the song I've never heard before. The treble hi and low ranges are insane and the bass hits just hard enough with no cracking or other issues. The noise cancelling feature works so well I still can't believe how good it is. I also love the fact that you can put your palm over the right earpiece to deafen the noise canceling allowing you to hear other people or important things like announcements without taking the headphones off. Google assistant works very well allowing me to call, check notifications, or text without having to pull my phone out. I guess my only negative thing I have to say about them is sometimes if i lean my head and it hits my shoulder during a workout the motion control on the headphone will change songs or mess with the volume. All in all this is the absolute best pair of headphones you can buy in my opinion and totally worth the money. This may be the best electronics purchase I have ever made! If you are on the fence about purchasing them but have the money to do so I would definitely recommend these over anything!!!

Not bad but pricey

I ended up returning simply because I don't think they are worth the money. Full price 300 on sale 250. Its a lot for a product i wont use every day and a product that has a lot of reviews complaining about the hinges breaking and sony not doing anything for their costumers. I bought the xm4 and the xb910n together and honestly the xm4 are better. The anc is a bit better. The sound is more balanced and they have speak to chat and a sensor that pauses the music whe you take them off. The xb910n are missing these features. And they are not as balanced soundwise like the xm4. But. I paid 120 dollars (sale price) for the xb910n vs 250 to 300. I couldn't justify the price and the anc on the xb910n is not bad. The sound is good once you play with the EQ a bit, the battery life is better than the xm4s and the codecs supported by the xb910n are exactly the same as the xm4 so hi res audio is possible to be listened to on both. I am a musician so i care how well music sounds. But i dont consider myself an audiophile. I hope this is helpful. I enjoy tech but i tend to be a little frugal and i also dont find important if someone notices if im wearing a 250 dollars headphones or 150 dollar headphones as long as i get what im looking for. Best sounding headphones

Very easy to use and great battery life. Only complaint goes for all modern wireless headphones. They all need more volume. I know they design them to not damage hearing but I've been listening to loud music for 55yrs and take full responsibility to my hearing.
