The sound cancelling works wonders and the sound quality is amazing. The touch feature to control audio and playback works well. One thing I really liked was when taking off the headphones it would automatically pause your music and restart once you have them back on your head. Ive spent hours listening to my favorite songs and revisiting them again in a better sound experience.

All I know is, they are comfortable for me, wearing them for most of two 15 hour flights, and the depth and clarity of sound is wonderful. Great around the house too. For the trips, the battery lasted my guess about 20-25 hours. Disconnected a few times with head movement.

Great Noise Cancelling and Comfortable

Those weren't worth their weight in salt anyways... These do a great job and come with the means to be able to control a few features from your phone. Took a bit of getting used to though because it kept trying to override the noise cancelling with the calling feature, making things louder (complete opposite of what I wanted). But as far as keeping ambient noises out and being good noise cancelling headphones, these are fantastic. I tend to wear them 4-8 hours a day (sometimes more), and they are quite comfortable and don't leave my head or ears feeling too irritated or warm.

Sony vs Apple

The only thing I liked better with Apple was the fit over the ears. It just seemed more cushioned and form fitting. Everything else I liked better with the Sony. Sony absolutely blows away Apple with bass too. No matter what settings I put the Apple on, it would not come close to the hard hitting bass of the Song which was the clincher for me. Much lighter weight and more compact with a better case too were the other pluses.

Worth every penny

I use these 6 to 10 hours a day normally and my only complaint is I wish some of the control were physical buttons instead of swiping the ear cup or using the phone app.

I have a small head, so most hats and headphones don't fit me and this is no exception. So if tou also have a smaller head, you may also experience it sliding back and forth/off your head, especially if you're moving (running, bending over, weightlifting). I've found products online that should help by creating a smaller bridge, but haven't purchased it yet. Again, this is normal for my experience so I'm just happy that there are additional products I've been able to fine online that help fix this.

I guess I have a pea head because they fit well and the Bose fall off when I was working out. It is on the higer end price wise but the quality makes up for it. Let’s start with if you remove them they pause your music! And if you need to have a quick convo you can just put your hand over the headphone and boom it lowers the volume and turns of noise cancellation. Ok but can we also talk about the touch up down & skip? They are ahead of their time for headphones. I do wish they were more comparable with apple (Bose is legit meant for apple) but I can deal with having a few apps on my phone. These are my go to for everything. I can shut out the world and live in my own for a minute.

A common reason for this behavior is the "Automatic Power Off" feature in the Sony Headphones Connect app, which can be configured to turn the headphones off when no music is playing. Great first impression and excited to use these

I've been using them for about 2 hours now, and upon first impression, they are phenomenal. The setup is extremely easy - an app that you download through a QR code in the physical manual guides you through the process which is completed in about 5 minutes. I learned a lot of features right off the bat and I'm sure I'll learn more as I use the headphones more. The foam on the ears and the top of the set is extremely comfortable and I don't have any ear discomfort yet. My ears are average sized, so please take that into consideration. The look and feel of the headphones and the case is high quality and feels durable. The footprint isn't too big and they are lightweight which will be great for bringing them along on long trips or in a bag for the day. The sound is fantastic. It truly surrounds you. I know there are options for EQ which i till get into at another time, but out of the box the sound is great. Looking forward to my time with these, thanks Sony!

Those were already great, but one of my pet peeves was that I always had to carry an extra USB-B cable. I have an Android phone so having everything charge with a USB-C is much easier to deal with. The headphones themselves sound great and having them on with nose cancelling seems like you're in a completely different place. I wear them at the gym and you can't hear any of the clanking at all while using them. These headphones can get loud, if you want them to, and I usually have them at around 60-70% volume. Gestures: They work well once you get used to it, but with anything touch based, it can and does get better over time with software updates. Battery life: It's advertised as 30 hours so shouldn't have any issues with 2 weeks of use. Due to USB C, charging is really fast and you can get 2 hours of use with just a quick 10 min. charge. So if you have a car charger and your headphones are dead on the way to the gym, you can charge them enough for a full session.

I just started my grad program so I bought these for their noise cancellation capabilities. I can say they are extremely helpful! I tend to use the the noise cancellation without any music so I can focus on reading and only light some noises make it through. Noise cancellation is absolutely perfect when I’m listening to anything! Come with a traveling case and airplane adapter! Bluetooth user easy to use and battery lasts a long time I can’t remember the last time I charged them!
