Mic is worthless. Can't be used at all

Sound quality very good Fit and comfort good Mic is completely worthless for phone calls. Complete unusable junk for a mic. Supposed to be top rated equipment yet they put these out knowing they have a problem with the mic. Disappointed. That was a lot of money for something with such a huge flaw. I use them for music. Ignored my girlfriend the few times I tried to use them for calls and she complained she couldn't understand a word. They would be 5 stars if the mic worked.

Buyer Beware - hearing loss headset squeals

However, this one I want to protect other users from hearing problems from the high pitched squealing while using these. (adult used, never abused) After research, this is a common issue with this headset. I purchased these about a year ago. They are not the most expensive on the market but they are pricey and they are listed as the best noise cancelling. They worked great.....until. Every time I put them on they would get a high pitched squealing noise that would leave me deaf for a short bit. I have had ringing in my head since the incidents. Initially I thought I had done something wrong. So I updated the software, contacted customer support for help. Turned them on and they were fine for 3 hours then out of no where this squealing again. I contacted customer support since they said they were under warranty. Sony will not help me with any warranty unless I provide a proof of purchase. I get that there are policies, but I have moved since buying these last year. Things have been relocated and that receipt can not be found. Very dissapointed. I was a loyal Sony customer but I will be taking all of my business to other companies. Please take my advice and skip on this set to save your hearing. Sony does not have a solution to fix this problem. #sonyhearingloss #sonywh-1000xm4 #wf-1000xm4squealing #buyerbewaresonyproduct

Thank you sony! I also use this when I workout gyms can get noisy. It is good value for the price and I bought mine somewhere else though.

Sound Quality Is Good That’s About It
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve used these headphones for many purposes and they’re not very comfortable compared to the BOSE and they don’t sit firmly on my head when at the gym. Yes I know these aren’t made to be used at the gym but every time I lay down on a bench the top part of the headphones comes loose and they fall backwards as I sit up. In general they’re very warm around the ears and my ears aren’t big by any means but they touch the inside of the ear cups. The sound quality is great but the noise cancellation isn’t what I expected. To be honest by AirPods Pro noise cancellation is just a little under what these are capable of.

A 7th grader couldnt do it

I’m not an ancient Egyptian and I don’t like reading hieroglyphs to learn how to do stuff. Give me step by step instructions out of the box! That’s part of what I’m paying for these instructions are NOT easy. I bought these headphones for my hard of hearing 93 year old father in-law to watch TV. I have Sony smart TVs in the house so I thought I’d by Sony headphones thinking they’d be easy to connect and operate - they’re NOT!
