I bit the bullet when I spoke to someone in the store who spoke about his experience with these for the last year. I’m glad I listened. These are so comfortable and the noise cancelling is incredible. The audio quality is top notch, the automatic noise cancellation feature can be great when turned on. It will enable 100 percent when stationary and when it detects you moving it will allow all sound to enter to hear your surroundings. You can adjust the intensity of the noise cancelling on multiple levels and for multiple preset scenarios. Audio quality is consistent throughout every setting. I am someone who worked as an audio engineer for 8 years and this does not seem to color the sound of any audio. No extra bass, no harsh highs. Just perfect for comfort, quality, ease of use. Happy with this purchase and if you’re debating… don’t and go buy them!

I wasn't able to hear family members talk when I had the headphones on. I love the color and the sound quality is chefs kiss. long battery life as well and lightweight

The noise canceling feature is very impressive. As soon as I turn it on, I hear a complete silence. No more buzz from my desktop fans. I love it! I can also walk away at least 3 times farther without losing signals or getting static noise. This headset is super comfortable. I think my head is slightly bigger than average women and the Beats headset just pinch my ears little too much. SkullCandy was nice, but the earmuffs were a bit bulky. I'm not into that Princess Leah headbuns style. This Sony headset is just right. Now I can stop looking for a better headset because I found one. I am hoping to find it in different colors. The color on the picture was a bit misleading. The actual color is gray and has no tint of cream. I was a little disappointed when I first saw it, but the headset itself is just amazing.

Perfect Bluetooth ANC Headphones

Keep in mind that for gaming you need to wire up, to avoid BT lag. If you're looking for gaming headphone only, there are cheaper options out there but if you're looking for these specifics features, this is the headphone to beat!

Love the the clear sounds of the music I listen to as a dj I can actually hear the highs and lows of the the music. Clear sound of the spoken words I can actually hear the words very clean and clear. I also have the ability to turn on a setting that will allow for automatic stoppage of my music if a call comes in or if someone walks up to me while wearing these headphones. The fit over my ear is comfortable and not pitching. Nice snug fit.

Best headphones out

High quality sound, extremely comfortable, nice accessories including a case and charging cord. Very comfortable to wear and even worked around the house without them slipping or falling off which happens constantly with ear buds for me.

Overall break sound quality and noise cancellation

The sound quality is pretty good but not awesome. The bluetooth connection to my Samsung Galaxy S8 is decent, but could be better, but that's possibly the phone. Battery life is good. Overall I very much like these.

Great sound and comfort, poor noise canceling

The battery is also amazing! The only reason I took off a star is that the noise canceling is not the greatest. Even with all the settings optimized for the best experience, I still find myself being able to hear what’s around me. Additionally, I have been told that others can hear what I’m listening to even if the volume isn’t that high.

XM4 are still great noise cancelling headphones

My two older children have them. This is the second set I have bought for my daughter. She - literally - wore the first pair to death (24 /7 - 7 days a week.) and they fell apart after 3 years. Unless you're a teenage girl, they will probably last you even longer. These are still probably one of the best pairs of noise cancelling headphones on the market and, these days, you can often get them on sale for much cheaper than Sony's current generation leader WHXM5s. I have enjoyed my own XM4s so much that I have seen no reason to upgrade - and probably won't - until my pair finally kicks the bucket. Unless you need to have the most current shiny - these remain a great choice in HQ NC headphones.

The NC and the 360 audio is really impressive at this price point. I like the build quality a lot better than the Bose. I rarely have to worry about charging. Highly recommend. Also the case is perfect for travel. This is my second pair. First one got stolen :(

Solid pair of headphones

Comfy feel to them, dont slip off when I use them for running on a treadmill or lifting weights. I bought silicone covers for my ear muffs that are specifically designed for this model of sony headphones. And if you need to buy specific parts to the headphones then amazon is great for extra ear muffs or the leather on the top middle of the headphones. The noise cancellation is really nice. My mind set was come in looking to buy bose headphones but after trying the sony samples, these were much better quality. I give these a 5 outta 5.

Great Quality Headphones

I love wearing them as I teach online and have many papers to grade. Well made quality headphones, very comfortable, great sound. Turn off automatically to save battery when I take them off.

No doubt about it, they are expensive. But I definitely see it as an investment and not so much “breaking the bank”. If you’re annoyed and want to shut out the world, THESE ARE THE HEADPHONES FOR YOU! If you want to feel like you’re in the studio whilst listening to your favorite song, THESE ARE THE HEADPHONES FOR YOU. No joke. Also, they double as earmuffs lol because the ear part is very cushy. Anyway, 10/10, I definitely recommend, plus I would get the warranty… I’m an anxious person and I always get it just in case lol. ONE DOWNSIDE, I feel like on the website the silver color looks more cream colored, and in person they give more silver/gray. I didn’t like that at first but it grew on me!

I Love The Sony - WH-1000XM4 Headphones

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Sony - WH-1000XM4 during the Black Friday sale to program to my Bluetooth on my 2022 Samsung S95B OLED 55-inch 4K Smart Television to watch sports, HBO-Max, Showtime, Starz, Epix, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. I love these Sony Headphones and the noise cancelling. The sound quality of these headphones is awesome. I originally purchased the Samsung - Galaxy Buds2 Pro but they didn't feel as comfortable in my ears and sometimes they would get loose in my ears and fall out. Also, I get up to 30 hours with the Sony Headphones before they need recharging. I can practically watch television all day before I need to recharge them. The Samsung Galaxy Pro 2 Earbuds only last about 5 hours before needing to be recharge
