Love the the clear sounds of the music I listen to as a dj I can actually hear the highs and lows of the the music. Clear sound of the spoken words I can actually hear the words very clean and clear. I also have the ability to turn on a setting that will allow for automatic stoppage of my music if a call comes in or if someone walks up to me while wearing these headphones. The fit over my ear is comfortable and not pitching. Nice snug fit.

The is the smartest and most comfortable headset I’ve ever owned. I can’t see getting any other brand headset after this. Totally worth the money and super light weight. Definitely recommend.

When I bought these it was like a whole new world of music was unearthed to me. Definitely a worthy purchase as it completely changes the way music sounds. Used recently on a flight and worked great! Plan to use on a road trip in the near future. Have beats flex and a few others similar. The ones that go in ear work good for most part and blocks all noise. My sony are over ear making more comfortable. Blocked all the noise of the plane out. Blocks tv and stuff in house. When someone comes up and takes to be it let's their voice in, I can cover one side and let noise in, I talk and it let's noise in, all automatically. When I take off it pauses my phone or tablet it's connected to. Sound quality is get. They are expensive but worth it if you catch a sale.

Great headphones all around!

I really like them so far. They are very comfortable and do not feel like they are super tight on my head, as cheaper headphones do. The sound is, well, Sony: very good. I hesitated for a long time because of the price, but they are well worth every penny. If there is a negative, it’s due to the fact that the sound via Bluetooth is not as superior as wired headphones. However this isn’t really a negative at all, because it’s a given that wireless technology itself is just not going to deliver the same frequency range as wired audio. These are my walking headphones. So, I’m not going to be as attentive to the purity of sound as I would be if sitting down for a listening session. The extra features are useful (noise cancellation; ambience control)—however, they will drain the battery faster than using the headphones with those extra features disabled.

However they do shut off randomly but that could just be bc my phone sucks. I like the noise cancelling feature and they are incredibly comfortable. Very nice :)

A common reason for this behavior is the "Automatic Power Off" feature in the Sony Headphones Connect app, which can be configured to turn the headphones off when no music is playing. The noise cancelling on these is very effective and blocks out around 90% of surrounding sounds. The soundstage is also very wide and the base is very good. Battery life last for multiple days as well

Solid pair of headphones

Comfy feel to them, dont slip off when I use them for running on a treadmill or lifting weights. I bought silicone covers for my ear muffs that are specifically designed for this model of sony headphones. And if you need to buy specific parts to the headphones then amazon is great for extra ear muffs or the leather on the top middle of the headphones. The noise cancellation is really nice. My mind set was come in looking to buy bose headphones but after trying the sony samples, these were much better quality. I give these a 5 outta 5.

Great battery life. Love the technology, imbedded features and auto detection abilities. Also the thinner profile looks great and fits great while wearing. It feels secure, light weight and fits close to my head.

A premium set of headphones

Don't love the app, some of the things in it are not very intuitive. Touch on the right earphone can be quirky, too. Sometimes it doesn't recognize taps when I am deliberately doing them, sometimes I'm just adjusting the headphones on my head or moving my hand in that area and it registers a tap. I would recommend turning off the audible notifications in the app, when outside they can happen pretty often because of traffic or wind. Very comfortable for long listening sessions. Synced to my S9 easily, but I also have a Samsung 4k TV that it synced to, but has some issues maintaining connectivity, there are occasional dropouts in sound, not sure if that's the TV or the headphones. Over-all, despite the various quirks, quite happy with the sound and quality of these headphones.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the app and some occasional sound skipping when paired with your TV. When connecting the headset to a Bluetooth device, use the headset at least 10 m (30 feet) away from the wireless LAN device. If this headset is used within 10 m (30 feet) of a wireless LAN device, turn off the wireless LAN device. Use this headset and the Bluetooth device as near to each other as possible. The situation may be improved by changing the wireless playback quality settings. Set the headset to “Priority on stable connection” mode or fixing the wireless playback mode with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app.

I’ve even taken these to the gym to workout in and the cancels out the noise in the game flawlessly and these headphones do no slip around while working out either
