I have brought by XM3 which is last generation of this product onboard a few flights and it easily guaranteed me no more humming plane engines when I try to get some rest, I have faith this one will do a even better job. One complaint is that the multi point connection support that is exclusive to this new XM4, I find the setup process a little bit clumsy. I also hope the same functionality can be provided to earlier products such as XM3. Thank you Sony for bringing us such a fantastic product.

Xm4 better than any of them. Its the best headphone that you can expect. Deep bass and more clear sound. This is the update version of xm3. Very light weight and soft ear piece.

Only thing i don't really care for, my fault though, if i touch fold my arms or touch my headphones...they turn off. I know they do a bunch of things, I'll never try or need, so i kept that extra star! I get tired of restarting my headphones. Blame my age!

Lets me Get lost in the music and really blocks out most all background noise. Comfortable fit, longest I’ve worn them is about 6 hours and no ear/ head fatigue. I had the Bose QC45 but decided to return those, as the XM4s were just better. They have more rich sound and more features. They also make the QC45 feel cheap in comparison. The only con is that the noise cancellation isn't as good as on the Bose. I also tried the XM5s recently and found that these sound better (and these fold inwards and have a nice case, the XM5s do not). To conclude, best purchase I've made in a while. I hope they'll last long.
