I have my office at home and inconsiderate noisy neighbors have moved in. Without the headphones, I could not work. They are comfortable and I can wear them for hours.

Lets me Get lost in the music and really blocks out most all background noise. Comfortable fit, longest I’ve worn them is about 6 hours and no ear/ head fatigue. Worth the money if you enjoy quality sound.

Mom's Headphones from Sony

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These headphones were purchased for my mom as she lives in a building where folks have music going till late, loud parties in the summer till the wee hours and the Boom of the Base rolls through her apartment. We initially looked at other brands that offer noise cancelling headphones, yet Sony is a name we have purchased in the past and it never disappoints with regard to quality and sound. The color is also a nice alternative to black or red. Mom can still kick it but does so on her own terms with her own music, or just sitting quietly without all the noise. These headphones are priced right and were the right choice for our mom.

Thought was defective because it kept shutting off. But that’s a feature to pause when someone talks to you. Great feature, but better that I can turn it off too. Very customizable and comfy.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant to spend this much on a set of headphones that I would be using for things like biking, working out, outdoor work but after using these for a few weeks I am incredibly happy with the build quality, convenience features, and anc performance. They have been dropped several times and hit a tree branch, still in perfect shape. ANC on these is amazing, truly the best in class until Bose releases their equivalent. The Sony headphones connect app used with the headphones works great so far as well. The automatic audio passthrough works great 99% of the time, the only thing I have found that activated it when not intended are loud lawn mowers but turning that setting off takes all of 1 button press in the app. Finally the most important part, sound quality is fantastic as expected by Sony's flagship ANC headphones.

Xm4 better than any of them. Its the best headphone that you can expect. Deep bass and more clear sound. This is the update version of xm3. Very light weight and soft ear piece.

They have all been great quality. These are no exception. I usually buy the earbuds or smaller but needed something for a long plane trip and got these. The cool part also is the app that goes with th allows you to attenuate the noise cancellation. Letting in a percentage of sound around in. Worth the price. You won’t be sad you got them.

Great Noise Canceling Headphones

Noise cancelation is perfect, touching the right ear cup to allow outside noise is very convenient. Taking them off automatically pauses whatever you re watching/listening too. I wish it had a better microphone. I tried using for a work call, but people said the voice quality wasn't good. After a couple hours of use, I had to take them off for about a minute because the ear cups were getting warm (not mechanical warm more body heat). Not a big deal...because I was expecting it to heat up right away...not the case for me. Sound quality is very good. No problems connecting multiple devices...phone and tablet.
