These are lighter and sound better. The battery is nowhere near as good as the second version. These last two work days and end up with less than twenty percent battery left over. Version two would last at least three full days. These also squeak on my glasses when I turn my head. I can hear it even when I’m playing music loudly. The control pad doesn’t seem to track gestures as good as the second version.

Was mowing the yard and I could feel the mowers vibration but no sound, the anc on there is outstanding

Compared with beautiful sound these can’t be beaten at this price. My best feature of these are the Adaptive sound control. Living in the city I have to use public transportation so the noise cancelling kicks in automatically when it knows I’m moving at certain speeds. Then shuts off when stopped. Perfect!

The Best Noise Canceling Headphone You Can Buy!2

When i used the noise canceling feature all I could hear was the movie i was watch. Not one sound of the plane got into my ears.

Noise cancellation was great and couldn’t hear anything other than my music during my last flight. Only negative was the initial connection to my device. It took a little longer other Bluetooth devices I have and I had to download a Sony app. And love the Navy blue color.

Junky headphones with too many bells and whistles

I wore them for 2 months, not even daily, and one of the ear cups snapped off just from removing them off my head. Sony warranty does NOT cover physical damage and they want me to pay hundreds of dollars to repair their poorly made product. On top of that any time you try to slightly adjust the ears, settings get messed up and your music will pause. The noise cancelling feature also kicks on and off at random times. These just do not make for a great listening experience and they are not well made. You're better off getting a cheap pair of SkullCandy. At least when they break you're not out $500+. Do not buy this product.

The warranty provided by Sony is for initial failures if more than troubleshooting is needed. This does not include any physical damage made to the unit. Noise canceling is great, surround sounds makes me feel like I’m at the movies, and they make me look cool. Only feature I don’t like is the speak-to-chat. I’ve disabled it multiple times but, since my family likes to steal my headphones, it keeps reactivating. They’re easy to carry and work even better using the analog aux cable.
