I use it every where and great for travel. It is very stylish, comfortable, and the sound quality and noise cancelling are great. This is one of few headphones purchased where the other person on my call can hear me without any reception or sound issues. It is so great, I had to get a second one.

Great Headphones that Last Forever

Essentially takes away the sound of the plane engine when I have been flying. Voices will sometimes still leak through, but ultimately these do a great job of blocking out sounds while still performing great. The battery is what may be most impressive. Have used on flight beginning of week, throw into bag and use again on flight home, no issues.

Simple Review, One Big Warning Before Purchase

Some issues I had in beginning were simply resolved once I updated them, and haven't had a connection issues since. But because this a quick review one known issues with these headphones is the there swivel point failing over time if not taking care of. So if purchasing make sure to use the provided case. Because of this known issue its not getting a 5 but a solid 4. Would i recommend? Yes but keeping in mind that handle with care for a long lasting life.

Great NC Heaphones

They’re very light and comfortable with great sound quality. Multi device connection is a welcome addition as well. The non folding design does mean a larger case footprint but the weight and comfort are a good tradeoff.

Superior Sound, Superior Comfort

Superior Sound with your music or connecting it to Apple TV. Safe to have on with adaptive sound control being in a big city so you remain situationally aware. Great battery life for hours on end. I wanted the XM3 years ago, but so glad I finally pulled the trigger on this headset. Very happy with my purchase.

Awesome headphones

If you’re someone who likes loud base, i would recommend going Bose . But if you’re looking for everyday/ office use these are perfect. Also, people complain about the size of the case i think it’s perfect

The noise cancelling is so effective that when I turn them off, it sounds like construction is going on outside my home until I realize that this noise is the noise I listen to all day long. These are worth every penny! The sales person who helped me in the store was so friendly, helpful, and wore a mask to protect the both of us. She made me want to buy even more. Great headphones

I have AirPods Pro and wanted to switch to headphones. The Sony Headphones give a lot of control over the headphones and the ability to switch between devices. Sometimes, I have experienced a tiny bit issue when switching as I have paired multiple devices. Battery life is good. One thing I am unhappy about is these are not water-resistant and can't use during gym/workouts. That is one drawback that stops me from giving it 5 stars. Apart from that, these are excellent.

Perfect Over Ear

I have compared these against the Bose and in terms of sounds they are way better and almost as good at noise cancellation. The comfort is great for long plane rides. I use them on average twice a month on the plane and love them. Only downside is their app is not the greatest but you don’t need to use after you set them up.

Pretty nice while they last.

Noise canceling is nice. Comfortable. BUT. I’ve owned these about 17 months now. With about 30 days total use. And they just snapped on me mid flight. Wonderful. From other reviews I’ve seen. This seems like a common issue. I won’t be using Sony again for headphones.

Better than all others

It is ideal for traveling. Unfortunately, that is not my major use. Pros. Best sound isolation i have tried. I thought that my xm3's where great, this is much better. Being able to pair with 2 or more devices at a time is what originally had me try them. It works great for that. I have them connected to phone, tablet and computer. Auto switching when sound is heard on each device. The ear pads are larger but thinner than early models. Better fit for me. That is totally a subjective veiw. Some don't like that, others do Cons.. greatest con, the lack of control over sound isolation. Good for traveling which helps you hear important voices but terrible for when you want silence, which is why i use them. Sometimes the auto shut-off of noise canceling if i cough or say something when i had disabled that feature is really annoying when I'm in a very loud area, like mowing my lawn. I can not get the headphones to cancel out voice at all. With the model 3 you could set voice canceling but with this model 5 you can not. I can no longer pair my model 3 with my phone, the sony app refuses to connect. Still waiting for an answer from them. Ok, lest bad thing but very important. Normally, when you take off your headphones, you either put them around your neck or lay them down with the pads close to your body or down toward the table. The model 5 will only fold forward if you loop them around your neck so the ear pads are pointed away from you, open to anything that could get in them. Dirt, water, bugs, people sneezing, whatever. So, if you don't want your headphones collecting these things, you can not put them around your neck. You must take them all the way off and find a way to protect them because they will not fold together either. Overall, I love them. A little annoying to take care of them but I find it worth it for their abilities.
