While the battery life remains impressive and the sound quality is still great, the noise cancelling feature is inconsistent. There are times when it feels too weak, and unfortunately, there's no way to adjust it to match its initial performance. The touch controls are more reliable compared to the XM4, but they tend to be overly sensitive. Honestly, considering my XM4 failed after just a year and the buggy experience these headphones offer, I'm likely to switch to Bose when these eventually give out.

They can go long periods without having to be charged too. You can even adjust the settings in the headphones for different sound control like a higher bass

Water resistance makes them great for the gym. Had the XM4's but these are a noticeable improvement on an already great pair of cans!

Incredible sound

Having had multiple pairs of these I would recommend the six’s because they seem to have a better build quality.

I did have an issue with when I am listening to music, it would stop playing when ever I started singing or if I spoke to someone else, not sure why this was happening, overall it’s a great headphones

Regarding your concern, it's possible that the Speak-to-Chat function (the headset pauses or mutes the music which is being played) of your headphones activates when you sing loudly or speak to someone. The Speak-to-Chat mode activates when it detects the speech of the person wearing the headset, but in rare cases, it may activate in response to the voices of other people, ambient environmental sounds, transportation announcements, etc. But you don't have to worry, you can disable Speak-to-Chat in cases where the Speak-to-Chat mode frequently activates by accident or if you don't want the music to pause when you begin to sing. Amazing headphones

Her Skull Candy Hesh 2 headphones that she had for 5 yrs broke. I took her to BestBuy so she could try out several models and this is the pair she picked. The noise canceling is amazing and if she wants to hear whats going on around her all she has to do is put her hand on one headphone and it lets the surrounding sounds in at a controlled level.

Better than expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was debating whether I should get these over the airpods max until I started to see review for both headphones from youtubers and audiophiles and mostly they were saying that the xm5s or xm4s would be a better pick than the AirPods max considering the overpriced headphones is heavy and can be uncomfortable for longer periods of listening times. 100% recommended

It costs $100 more and have been able to compare in store it depends on concern with sound or noice cancellation. Best buy had this model and sell for $299 and even looked for a price without me asking. The manager, Keith, is really a super person. He told mechechas been at Best Buy for 17 years. I haveckbown him for 12 years, since day I moved back to Gainesville Store. I check online, but purchased most of items at this store I was cocerned with both. My opinion this model is better than the new Bose.

Why don’t they fold?

It doesn’t fold so the carrying case is large. I didn’t set it up, went back and upgraded to the 6.
