Blue Tooth Issues

My issues with these headphones is the blue tooth constantly disconnects. Also, the noise canceling quality is not very good.

We're truly sorry to hear about your experience with the Sony - WH1000XM5 headphones, especially regarding Bluetooth stability and noise canceling performance. We understand how important both of these features are, and we'd like to share some tips that may help.
For Bluetooth connectivity:
- Please ensure your headphones are updated to the latest firmware using the Sony Headphones Connect App.
- In the app, you can also set the set the headset to “Priority on stable connection”, which can reduce the audio/Bluetooth dropouts.
- Try to avoid using the headphones in areas with heavy wireless interference, such as near microwave ovens, crowded trains, or when surrounded by multiple wireless communication audio devices.
For noise cancelling performance:
- Make sure the headphones are properly fitted and fully sealed over your ears—this makes a big difference in blocking outside sound.
- In the Sony Headphones Connect App, use the "Auto NC Optimizer" feature, which adjusts performance based on your environment and personal fit.
- Double-check that Adaptive Sound Control isn't automatically lowering noise cancelling in certain situations; you can manually set it to "Noise Canceling" using the app for maximum effect.

Favorite headphones

I’ve got to say though, my favorite are the Sony xm5’s. They feel super comfortable and the noise cancellation is the best I’ve had so far. I did like how the xm4’s folded but that being said it’s really not a big deal. Though I really like Bose, I believe Sony offers better noise cancellation than the 700’s and includes more features for usage, plus the sound quality is incredible as well!

The audio quality is incredible and the call quality is quite impressive too according to my colleagues who've noticed.
