Amazing sound, horrible build quality

I’ve spent entire workdays with then on and never felt like I needed to take them off. Unfortunately, the weak hinge snapped on me out of nowhere and the headphones have become unusable. Apparently, this is an incredibly common issue with these headphones that Sony refuses to acknowledge. I wanted to love these headphones, but its not worth the money for less than two years of usage. Sony needs to fix this build issue on their next headphones and acknowledge the mistake on the XM5s.

Upgrade from the Beats Studio 3

Upon listening to these for the first time, I was impressed with the ANC performance, sound, and build quality which is all a step above the Beats. The only negative I can think of is how the case is larger than the Beats' case but other than that it is perfect. I also enjoyed the Sony app and all the features it offered.

Great headphones but not for me

It’s annoying.

Worth a little adjustment

You will need to adjust the equalization to your taste - out of the box it is muddy. Noise cancellation is just right and it is a little sensitive to talking (shutting playback). Again, still just excellent!

There are so many features that are included in these headphones. You can truly make these headphones uniquely yours in the app that comes with it.
