Comfortable and lightweight

Most headphones I can’t wear for more than a hour without a headache so that was the selling point. Sound seems very good, but I haven’t really compared with others. My only complaint is that the Sony app has some scary terms and conditions that make it sound like I’m signing away the rights to everything I listen to, which is just not ok in my book. I ended up not installing their app which I think means I’m missing out on some of the noise cancellation features which really sucks. I wish places still made technology that works on its own without additional requirements.

Good headphones, needs more instructions

They were meant to come in the next day but there was a small mistake and the headphones didn't come until the next working day. Other than that, the headphones themselves work great. I have three dogs that love to bark and these drown them out very well. I wish they came with more detailed instructions as I had to look up how to use them properly. If you had any of the prior headphones in these series they work the same.

I have sensory issues, enough that when my XM3's broke I needed to buy new ones the next day. Pros: It is great noise canceling. Both top and bottom frequencies at the extreme end are slightly better canceling than the Bose QuietComfort, which is exactly what I am looking for. However, the Bose was better at noise canceling all other frequencies. Cons: The build quality absolutely sucks. They are $30 build quality with a $400 price tag. It feels cheap, looks slightly better, and the foam is so bad. When I bend over (to pick up a ball and play fetch with the dog) some sensor wigs out and the sound changes and the noise cancelling is affected. I am absolutely getting more sound passthrough than previous iterations, and their build quality was better. The case is massive, and insane that someone thought that's how I want to travel. It's the size of my grandmother's purse. I'm not an audiophile, I just am sensitive to extreme frequencies. But the sound is good... but not at this price point! For $400 I should be able to hear God answer my prayers, instead I'm hearing just good tunes? It sounds like a $60 pair of headphones. Again, the Bose QuietComfort were superior. They had better sound, the soundstage felt larger, and the sounds were absolute finesse. And did I mention they were $100 cheaper? In sum: If you do not desperately need the edge of human hearing to be silenced then you SHOULD NOT buy these. $400 is a bonkers price for something that feels like tomorrow's noise canceling put into yesteryear's design choices. Ridiculous.

Great all around. Better options for bass

Certain sounds can slip through if they’re high pitched enough but I don’t believe that’s the fault of the headphones. Lacking in bass which I’ve heard the xm4 is better for but every other sound is amazing. App is very easy to use and equalizer helps fine tune for personal sound preference

This is such an immersive experience. You connect so much better with music . I feel like these are a tool for me to sharpen my skills and also have a deeper appreciation of music. Should have gotten these sooner. They are well worth the money
