Connectivity issues

I was able to add the headphones and every app worked except for Jabber (for work calls) which was the reason i bought the headphones. I returned the headphones which was bittersweet

Excellent headphones ruined by a faulty touchpad

The sound quality, noise cancellation, and battery life are all excellent. I’d recommend them to anyone if it weren’t for their glitchy touchpad. Touching the side of the headphone lets you control playback, volume, and activate sound pass through. This would be great, but it will sometimes activate on its own, without me touching. This would be fine if i could completely disable the touch controls since while they’re nice, I can live without them. However, theres no way to completely disable them, so I’m stuck with headphones that work flawless most of the time, but will randomly activate some touch input. Extremely frustrating for a $400 product.

Better than the XM4, but with annoying hiccups.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These are better than the XM4 that I owned, but they happen to have 2 issues that I find annoying. 1) The ANC will turn off by itself and turn back on. 2) It will just turn off by themselves with a small pop sound. Nothing is broken, I just use that pop sound to know if what Im listening to is buffering or the headphones just need to be turned back on. Both issues rarely happen, at least once a month.

XM5 Review

My colleagues can hear me loud and clear, unlike with othet wireless headphones that i've had. The only setback is that I am unable to mute/unmute from the headset and would have to be done directly on the app. And when doing recording for meetings, it will pick all ambient noises and they are extra loud.
