Great sound, both ambience and noise cancelling ans the NC effect is spot on. Super confortable to use during my workouts. They dont slide and the collr is beautiful

Not Better Than Bose Ultra or Momentum 4

The stock sound is terrible, will need to EQ in the Sony app, but after EQ sound is not bad.

Great sounds quality and comfort

I would say you can get ebtter audio quality out of more expensive headphones such as the h95 but the comfort on the sony is the best I’ve experienced

I threw them on, sat back, closed my eyes, listened to songs that I've heard hundreds of times, and noticed things in each one that I've never heard before! I even find myself listening to music that I would have never listened to before, just because it all should so amazing in these things. I've had decent pairs in the past, but it's mind-blowing how big of a difference a quality set of headphones makes. Then, I booted up my PC, and was able to hear both it and my phone at the same time. Let me tell you, games on these sound almost too good. A character talk behind me, and I almost turned around in real life thinking they were there. And the noise cancelling... My wife, daughter, and son we're all screaming at me, and I didn't hear them at all! Thank you Best Buy and Sony for saving my sanity.

Nothing compared to these ones. The noise cancellation is better. Lightweight and able to control audio with single taps is an advantage.

A proper upgrade

Love the sound quality. The noise canceling works great for me and I love there’s an ambient sound mode for when I need to pay attention to my surroundings. The headphones also have an app for complete customization and even includes customizing sound based on the way you wear them. Definitely recommend. My only very slight con is that they are sensitive to certain sounds and movements and I need to take a look at how to turn off the chimes because I prefer uninterrupted listening. Other than that, a great purchase.

Very comfortable, probably the most comfortable headphones I've had. The app isn't terrible and not required after initial set up, but still fun to play with occasionally. Would buy again.

Amazing headphones

Her Skull Candy Hesh 2 headphones that she had for 5 yrs broke. I took her to BestBuy so she could try out several models and this is the pair she picked. The noise canceling is amazing and if she wants to hear whats going on around her all she has to do is put her hand on one headphone and it lets the surrounding sounds in at a controlled level.

I watched multiple YouTube reviews and was convinced this was the pair of headphones I wanted. Oh my goodness! These Sony XM 5’s are replacing a five year set of Bose. I didn’t think it would be possible to say an upgrade over Bose would be this dramatic, but it is! The noise canceling is excellent, and when you download the app and use the 360 Reality Audio, the sound is truly amazing! If you’re in the market, stop into Best Buy and give these a listen. I highly recommend these headphones.
