Good product but expensive

Ideally it is a fair deal but not the great one. Audio clarity is very good in bright profile compared to default one. I dont seem to use the automatic functions most of the time.

Regarding the sound quality, the WH-1000XM5 headphones offer a high-standard audio experience, particularly considering the price point. The headphones feature different sound quality modes during Bluetooth playback, which can be adjusted using the "Sony | Headphones Connect" app. You can choose between the "Priority on sound quality" mode, which prioritizes audio fidelity, and the "Priority on stable connection" mode, which ensures a more stable wireless connection depending on your environment.
Regarding comfortability, we regret to hear that the headband padding and ear pads did not meet your expectations. The headband on the WH-1000XM5 indeed has padding, but feedback like yours may help us improve future models. This aspect is something we continually look into to provide a better user experience.

My only complaint is the travel is a bit harder.

I also enjoy listening to music on them. I haven't pinned down everything... haven't used them in a zoom yet, but I really didn't buy them for that purpose, so cannot say for sure if the mic works well since I use them mainly to listen to music and block out noise around me.

Sony also has one of the best apps for customizing the equalizer to get the sound how you want. Worth the upgrade in my opinion.
