Best headphones ever. I’ve had these for about a year and it still works perfectly. Amazing for the gym, doesn’t slip off and fast to dry. The noise cancellation is insane and doesn’t hurt my head after a while of using them.

Heat headphones that are comfortable and have good sound quality. I have sensitive ears but they aren't bothered by the ANC even let extended periods of time.

If you are looking for the absolute best noise cancellation on the market, look no further. I upgraded from the XM4s, and the WH-1000XM5 is a massive leap forward in both tech and comfort.

I love these so much. I have to do hemodialysis 3 days a week, 5 hours per treatment. While doing my treatments I listen to podcasts to help the time pass and before I got these headphones I couldn’t hear most of the shows I listen to. There is always so much back ground noise and nurses yelling across the unit, it was so hard to hear what I wanted to hear. These headphones work so well at blocking back ground noise it’s like a different world. And I can finally hear my shows. They are definitely worth the price if background noise is a issue. I also love being able to control them with just a lil tap on the ear piece. They’re also very comfortable, very soft on my tiny ears. The carrying case is also well made and appreciated since it’s more convenient to carry along to my treatments.

I am a headphone addict. I have the XM5's, QC35 II's, AirPod Pros, Beats in ear, etc. These are really good. Better noise canceling than the XM4's, but don't fold up as neatly for travel. I think they sound better too, but hard to say for sure. Pretty comfortable as well. Try em.

I really wanted to love the Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones, especially after all the glowing reviews, but my experience was a letdown. While the sound quality is good and the noise cancellation is solid, the overall comfort and usability fell short for me. The new design looks sleek, but the headphones feel awkward after extended use — the headband padding isn’t as comfortable as expected, and the ear cups felt a bit too snug. Also, for a premium product, the touch controls can be overly sensitive and frustrating to use. Battery life is decent, but nothing groundbreaking compared to older models. Honestly, I preferred the XM4s in terms of comfort and value. For the price, I just expected a more refined experience. These might work for some, but they didn’t meet my expectations.

A great headphone, I give it 4 out of 5 because its overpriced - I think for value and price to performance, xm4 is MUCH BETTER. But if you find xm5 on sale, grab it. Great sound quality, ease of use, the sony app is amazing but unfortunately its only on mobile phones and not on pc but the settings are easy to set and the headphones will remember it when you connect to other devices. Also connecting to devices is very easy,

I have had no issues so far. Great battery life. App is super accessible and easy to use and install. Having a control center is awesome for adjusting volume and switching songs. The color is gorgeous!

Great pair of headphones, can block out noise on a plane ride and last through even the longest of plane rides. They also dont feel too heavy on your head and fit well even when wearing glasses.

Best headphones I've ever owned. The first thing i believe that separated these headphones from other noise cancelling headphones is there is no weird pressure feeling on the ears from the nose cancelling. They create an atmosphere that is truly quiet. And there is a lot of customization. The (i don't remember the name of the feature) ability to cover the one side to temporarily turn off the noise cancelling to listen to people talking to you is nice. Also I've had them since before Christmas and haven't charged them yet. So I'm going to say the battery life is really good

The unboxing experience felt premium because of the the extra care the company put into packaging. Alongside, the quality of the product and sound were beyond my expectations. I love SONY.

I will admit, I was very skepticsly in buying these headphones, primarily befause of comments I had seen on build quality and how the display pairs felt in stores. However, i made the decision to buy them and was definitely surpirsed at how nice they felt. The sound quality is also great, especially once you are able to tinker with the EQ to match your liking, and they are super light and comfortable to wear. I initially bought them under the impression I may want to return them, but ultimately decided agaisnt it becase I liked them so much!

Was between these and the XM4’s due to all the people saying these brea easy. Yes, you do need to handle them with love, but no they do not break easily. Yes accidents happen, but it isnt thathard be mindful when using them. If you are careful they will last you years. THESE ARE NOT MEANT FOR THE GYM OR ROUGH USE. They are for enjoying music, traveling etc. Treat them like you would an very full cup of coffee. You dont want it to spill while you carry it so you pay attention to how you hadle it. These are the same, but are so wortht he comfort and sound quality which is way better than the XM4’s.

These headphones have excellent noise canceling with a decent in-app EQ to tune more finely to your listening preferences. I really enjoy these headphones. The audio quality is really good for wireless headphones, and there is the option to use a 3.5mm cable if you would like to make the sound quality even better. The case is bigger than the last generation, but still isn't bulky in my experience carrying it almost everywhere I go. The pass-through mode to hear your surroundings is really good, almost as good as AirPods Pro 2, which is surprising considering the form factor of these close-back headphones. Battery lasts multiple days, even though it takes so little time to charge.

These noise-canceling headphones really are the best. I got them for when I am in bed and there are high pitched noises or when I travel and need absolute silence in a busy-street- alot-of-noise hotel. What I found was to first insert ear bud style ear plugs in first and then put the Sony headphones over that in noise-cancelling mode. Nothing gets in! I mean nothing! I sleep very well, if on my back, even though I am a side-sleeper. I thought I would pass this tip along since so many reviewers on different products have helped me out in the past. For anyone super-sensitive to noises, give my advise a try, it works. I have never used these for music, only to silence the noise pollution when I need to. What a relief.

Amazing headphones, great bass, great voice, amazing noise cancellation, really long battery

The sound quality is amazing and the noise cancelling is better than any headphones I’ve worn. I wore these in an RV, which has a loud motor, with the windows open, and I could not hear the motor and barely the wind while I had the noise cancelling on with a show playing. Another plus is the battery life, which seems to be infinite. Out of the box the headphones were at 50% battery, and I was unable to charge them because I was traveling, so I used them with the battery that was already on them, which lasted for hours upon hours of streaming movies and shows. When I went to check the battery afterwards, they had only gone down a few percent. My only critique is that the headband, although plush, is thin and applies all of the weight and pressure from the headphones onto one part of my head. Aside from this, the headphones are quite comfortable around my ears and I have had no other issues with them.

Sony never loses to amaze me with the build and sound quality. Very light weight for the size of the headphone. ANC and sound quality is top notch.

the headphones sound great, and they are quite a bit more comfortable to me in comparison to the xm4s, which were sufficient, but don't feel as nice or sound as good in comparison. i can wear these for much longer periods of time than the xm4s and i enjoy the sound more. the new adjustable bands are a nice improvement too, and feel more premium than the xm4. this device has some issues though. noise cancelling auto adjusts, which can be quite annoying when you can hear the headset adjusting automatically over and over in a short span of time, which makes me personally wish the noise cancelling can be manually adjusted instead. furthermore, the touch surface on the right earcup will still make noises when you touch it, even if you turn off touch controls. these issues, while annoying, hopefully can be fixed in a future software update. these still sound great, and are just very comfortable, and will be perfect i believe if these issues are addressed in a software update.

Amazing set of headphones. Lightweight, comfortable, and sound quality is just amazing.
