I got a pair for my fiancée and she absolutely loves them. The noise cancellation is awesome and the sound is incredible.

My.only complaint is thay they feel a little flimsy. But the music quality is so nice and makes uo for it. But for the flimsiness, i would expect a little better price

Almost perfect, but needs a few tweaks.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really liked the headset, but had a few issues that caused me to ultimately return them. 1) Not having detailed control of the ANC would sometimes cause an issue where I could feel it rapidly switching between levels. 2)) There is no way to mute a phone call that I could find on the headset. This has been a complaint on every version of this headset and seems like it will never be addressed. 3) For some reason, the microphone array would think that my voice was background noise occasionally and would attempt to remove parts of it from the conversation. If you don't experience these issues, or feel that they aren't deal breakers, the headset is great. The Google Assistant integration was nice, allowing me to do so many things on my phone with the headset. The noise canceling, when working correctly, was amazingly good for both listening to audio and removing background noise when making calls. I really do wish they had worked out and hope that maybe the next version will add the improvements needed to make it perfect for me.

Sony M5 better than Bose!

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.sold my m3's. these sound better and have a longer battery life. of couse the noise cancelling is great. just used them on a 3 hour flight sitting 2 rows away from screaming baby. i watched a movie hand did not hear the baby at all, even during quiet scenes. better than the bose headphones i have.

Excellent audio. Average build quality.

They are fairly lightweight, which is nice. But the build quality could be a little bit better for the price. The plastic feels rather cheap and I sometimes worry about them breaking. Not nearly as solid as the AirPods Max. But overall they are a good value.

The sound quality is superb and better then anything I've used in the past in comparison. The only issues I've had is with connectivity and sound quality dipping noticeably with weird artificial noise that isn't present all the time.

Best for guys with a larger head, sound is okay

However, there not great. At the price I expected better sounding. But they fit my head which is the most important issue for me. I tried the top 4 in this class of headphones. It cancels out the noise well. But the music does not sound that great.

We can isolate this issue by playing several different music and use different sources. When playing music, if the headset and the transmitting Bluetooth device are connected via an HFP or HSP Bluetooth connection, switch the Bluetooth connection to A2DP with the connected device. Despite your concern, it's good to hear that you still like them, especially the noise canceling feature. With our WH-1000XM5 headphones, you can enjoy magnificent sound quality which is engineered to perfection and have a battery life that can last up to 30 hours with quick charging (3 min charge for 3 hours of playback). With 8 total microphones, these headphones are our biggest step forward in noise canceling technology. The sound quality is incredible and headphones are incredibly durable. I love the off white color and modern style as well. Also, headphones usually hurt my ears after wearing them for so long but these are extremely comfy!

Did not have the earlier version so I can’t compare however these headphones are comfortable and extremely quiet on planes where I use them the most. Love the ability to speak and the system allows me to hear what is being said then going back to quiet after a few seconds.

Sony Noise Cancelling

Wonderful Noise Cancelling Headphones!

They feel light and you forget that they're on your head after a while. The noise cancelling works great and I mainly bought them for traveling, but I use them at home when it's late at night.
