    Product stopped working after 1.5 yrs. The Bluetooth won't stay connected longer than 1 minutes. They won't support after a year. At this price I expect headphone to last longer than 18 months

    Super uncomfortable around my head compared to the XM2s. The thinner band puts a lot of pressure.

    Headphones are great.carrying case is falling apart after 5 weeks and best buy passed me on to sony and sony says it is an accessory and it is not covered under warranty but they will sell me one.

    I returned them the day after I bought them. Didn’t hold a charge and all the controls were difficult. The M4 controls weren’t broken. Why did Sony change them. Too bad. I liked Sony. Shame on you for screwing up a good thing.

    Was amazing until one of the hinges started getting wiggly/loose. Just a simple search on google can show that the XM5 has a reoccurring problem with these hinges.

With that being said, we'd love to help you and troubleshoot your problem and hopefully turn your experience around.

      There are different reasons why your ears may hurt when putting on or wearing headphones such as:

      Under certain environmental conditions, especially when the air is very dry, it is not uncommon to experience a slight static electricity discharge or mild shock when your body comes in contact with another object, in this case the ear buds touching your ear(s). The energy from this natural discharge is extremely small and was not generated by your product but rather a natural environmental occurrence. There is no safety issue with the product itself.
      You may be experiencing a symptom called listener fatigue. That is where your eardrums work hard to manage the volume that flows through your ear canal. The louder the volume, the bigger the strain on your eardrums, which then causes the feeling of fatigue. Note: Try lowering the volume or take a break from wearing them for a while.
      How long have you been wearing the headphones? The longer you wear headphones, the more your ears may hurt. Note: You may need to limit your headphone usage.

    I purchased this headphone 2 years ago and now it has stopped playing on both microphones. I factory reset it 2 times and the problem did not fit.

    Stopped charging after 5 weeks. Best Buy told me to contact Sony myself regarding any warranty. I should have bought them on Amazon, I could have exchanged them no problem.

    Best Wireless ANC Over-The-Ear Headphones

    Sony has done it again! I didn't think they could top the XM4's (I have a pair of those) but of course they did. Audiophiles, listen and be immersed in best over-the-ear headphones on the market today. Pretty much everything, every feature of these headphones are excellent and work extremely well. I've tried other Wireless ANC over-the-ear headphones from other manufacturers and they simply can't compare--they're a combination of heavy, uncomfortable, too tight or too loose, have subpar sound quality, subpar noise cancellation, and/or the buttons/touch features do not work well. The fit and feel of these are so comfortable, it's like pillows on your head and ears. They don't weigh your head down, nor do they pinch your ears. The touch controls work fabulously and are a breeze to use. I don't use headphones for calling, but I tried it out and that feature also works well. Battery life is superb; no constant need to recharge every night. But what is the ultimate best feature of these headphones? The sound quality, of course. I have Sony soundbars, a subwoofer, and rear speakers, and they produce the best sound quality. These headphones are just another testament to Sony's dominance of the audio market; they sound the best, hands down. For all its techie features, it all boils down to if the sound quality delivers and it certainly does. The only little thing that I miss from the XM4's is the foldable feature, but I can live without it.

    I look like a astronaut honestly I thought this one’s were going to be better than WH-1000XM4 but they don’t even fold like them there bigger I got them I returned them the price is just not worth it other then that it’s cool they have a nice color and everything

    The XM3 have lasted me for 4 years and these broke within 1 year through the same use. Hinge is very weak design one wrong move and they will break.
