Solid headphones but some improvements needed

The noise canceling function works well and I was looking for a set that were multipoint - able to connect more than one device - so that I can respond to my phone while working on my laptop. The reason for the 4/5 stars is because I am forced to download an app to do the multiple connections and connectivity isn’t always consistent resulting in a somewhat glitchy sound connection on MS Teams. This doesn’t happen often but for the price we shouldn’t have to deal with this.

Best headphones I’ve purchased in life!

Super comfortable, works well with all my devices, sound quality is great for music and calls. The mic even filters your voice well during calls. I have been listening to music in the background on a call and the person I was talking to didnt hear a thing.

Worth every penny

After asking around and trying another major competitor I settled on them. The sound quality is as you’d expect from higher end headphones from Sony, very good. I love the deeper end of the sound. I use them when I work outside because I love the noise canceling. It removes at least half the noise from the lawnmower. I was told they wouldn’t work well with my Xbox because the dialogue would be off. That is wrong. I use them every day and never notice any dialogue or other sounds being “off”. It was well worth what I paid.

Amazing headphones!!

I love using them when i just want to get lost in the music, the bass and treble is good and the eq is good. They do get my ears warm from the material of the ear muffs after using them for a while. Quick to connect on my iphone.

Best Headphones of the year so far!

This is the best headphone for the price range and sound quality. Sound is great and the battery life is exceptional and it works well with the iPhone app and android and don’t have any lag or issues with it. The only downside is it outside will get stained if you have greasy or messy fingers. Other than that great product! Would Recommend!

Sounds amazing and has really great noise cancellation. I really like the feel of these but since there is no water resistance I can’t help but wonder how long these will last before they start to deteriorate. People will always sweat with headphones on so it’s strange that they are no built for sweat-resistance. I also wish they were collapsible.

An ideal headphones with minor issues

Looks amazing and you can wear it all the times. Its true to every good thing you can find it in all the reviewa. I have been facing connectivity issues form day 1 and whatever I do it is still there. I also noticed the sound quality is not the best for the price point but it's not bad either.

Major upgrade from already great headphones

Almost everything is better, from the noise canceling and the comfort to the USB-C charging. The only thing that took a little getting used to is the tones that replace the voice prompts. I even tested the mics, and the non-voice noise is almost eliminated. Best WFH/study aid I could hope for!

Love the feature that lowers the volume when you place your hand on the right side of the headset to hear when someone needs to talk to you. Having the headphone charged via usb is great....no more batteries! They also hold the charge for a long time. Very happy with this purchase.

Sound is amazing, headphones a bit big

We opted for these over the Bose because we both really liked the ability to mute/turn off noise cancellation by holding your hand over the right ear. We also both thought these felt more comfortable than Bose, and that the sound was pretty much equal. However, these headphones are a little big for both of us, and that's our main complaint. We also find that we accidentally mute the headphones quite a bit when exercising. Otherwise, that are incredible.

Perfect for wireless calls and music.

I listen to music but I want something that's good with phone calls too. IF you are a Bass heavy music lovers may be check others but for my purpose regular music and call really good.

The new, streamlined XM5 design was developed to achieve a sleeker look and enhance the overall noise cancellation performance by maximizing the space for internal components, like the new processor and microphones. While they no longer fold inward, they still collapse flat into a thin carrying case, which was redesigned to be more durable and feature a magnetic flap for accessories.
