However, we are genuinely sorry to learn that you are experiencing discomfort and pain after wearing them for only 20 minutes. This is certainly not the all-day comfort we designed the XM5s to provide. Headphones that cause pain defeat the purpose of great audio and ANC, and we want to help.
Discomfort can sometimes be related to fit or pressure. We recommend trying different ways to adjust the headband to ensure the earcups are sitting properly and the clamping force is evenly distributed.
If the discomfort persists, we encourage you to contact our dedicated product support team so they can troubleshoot the fit with you and explore potential options.

Best of Both Worlds

I have tried the Bose and Beats but this one gives me the best of both worlds. The clear, crisp sounds of Bose combined with the deep bass of Beats. I love this headset.

Amazing sound and ANC

I wish they had water resistance so that I didn't have to baby them so much but the audio quality is worth it. These aren't gym headphones, they're concentrate on listening to your music headphones.

Review saying he needs more bass needs to realize theres more to music than bass. Wont regret upgrading if you are on the fence. Extremely comfortable, nice punchy bass, crisp highs, and mids are clean. Mess with the sony EQ and you’ll have all you want from your headphones.

Most amazing headphones I've ever owned

You can hear things in songs that you've never heard before. I also use them on zoom calls where the ambience noise allowance is super helpful. Battery life is incredible.

Amazing headphones for studying and keeping focus

I needed some to help me when I am studying, I can’t focus with to many sounds around me but I also can’t focus with music to loud. Even so while play lofi study music and having the noise cancellation on it did wonders. I couldn’t Hear anything and if I did it was so muffled that it wouldn’t distract me. I also love love the feature where you can put your hand on the headphones and it’ll let you listen to your surroundings. Many would say it’s annoying that they can’t hear the person talking to them to clearly or their surroundings but, let’s be real. These headphones are probably only for work use like studying or working and not really for everyday use like normal headphones. These are definitely meant to make your world quiet and muffled.

Great headphones, just have to tweak the EQ

Best Headphones in the Market

I purchased them thinking I could use them at the gym, but they’re prone to getting damaged, but they are really good headphones nonetheless!

Really good sound but flimsy and expensive

I agree with this. I had to get a replacement in the 1st year because one of the speakers were damaged. I had exclusively used the headphones at my office job without ever dropping them or transporting them. The replacement pair I got with the warranty about a month ago are still working normally. When they work, they sound great, though I do find the construction rather flimsy for the price point. I also own Bose QC45 and I find them to be much sturdier with similar sound quality. I will say the noise cancelling on the Sony headphones is significantly better.
