Poor made comfortable and good sounding headphone

Need to install the app to turn it off for every device you connect Poorly made hinge. Sony has some problem with all their previous headphones where the hinges brake. And they dont want to do anything about it. $400 heaphone poor made hinges not covered in warranty. Not worthy to buy. Luckily I bought it from bestbuy with GeekSquad warranty. So happy that I bought it from bestbuy

I use them for work, and occasionally at the gym. The only reason I did not rate them a 5/5 is because they are not waterproof.

I wish there could be a light indicatior to let me know. I have put them away charged but when I want to use them they are not charged.

However, the sound quality seems to be relatively poor compare to its same level product like the momentum 4 and B&W px7s2.

We're glad you like the headphones but sorry the noise canceling isn't hitting the mark. We recommend disabling "Adaptive Sound Control" in the Sony Sound Connect app to keep the ANC at its maximum level. Ensuring a snug fit around the ears and checking for the latest firmware update can also significantly improve performance.

Great Noise cancelling and durable headphone

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just loved this headphone from Sony, although it is a little bit long in the tooth, it sounds great but it is a step lower than my new Sony-WH-1000XM5, the 1000XM4 is a much better when I'm traveling because it is foldable. It is also durable. My only minor complain is the touch sensitive right side, sometimes it's not that 100% consistent. I still recommend it since the price is dropping quicking. It is the best value headphone.

I enjoyed wearing them during intercontinental fligts and they proved to be very helpful. My only concern is after using them for 2 hours at 34-36F they lost connectivity with my phone couple of times and they shut down without reason. After powering them again, I checked their battery status and it was saying they are full. That is the only thing I found a bit strange, but it may make sense after 2 hours operating at low temps.

Great until i left them over seas....

Better than promised!

These WH1000XM5's are simply a phenom! They perform as promised and allow me to get rid of the sound from the a/c unit in my rental home. Forget about the music, just LISTEN and you will fall in love this Sony headset.
