The bass while not as prevalent (to bass lovers), it is good for its audio clarity. Yes, you don’t get too much of a kick, but Sony more tweaked it for that Treble, Mid and all. The connectivity is great, and I genuinely loved them. Initially these were a trial to test because of curiosity, but ended up loving them.

The quality of the headphones themselves is amazing and the sound is great. Would definitely recommend buying these headphones. Honestly worth the amount of money. You’re paying for premium sound. Not great for the gym, they slide off but for traveling and walking they are great

I use for classes, the gym, yoga, Pilates, and every one of my hobbies. The features of the touch pad on the side is very useful and fun to use but difficult to get the hang of, but once figured out it’s easy. The price is worth it for these headphones, I recommend it greatly!

Premium sound cancellation headphones

The premium sound cancelling on these headphones is better than any headphones I've ever owned, compared to other more expensive options. One criticism is that connecting to your bluetooth device is often challenging, but maintains connection once you get it paired. Additionally, you are highly advised by Sony not to use these headphones with activities that lead to prolific sweating.

Review of my SONY XM4

I don’t think I regret purchasing it because I love using it, however, I do feel like the reviews I read online were more honest about how much noise it cancels. For example, someone said that they weren’t able to hear a crying child who was sitting next to them. I think that’s false. I feel like what it would make the outside noise faint rather thank canceling it and in my personal opinion, they cancel noise better than the XM5 (which I know many reviewers would disagree with). I don’t know if you get what I’m saying. Connecting to my headphones isn’t the worst, but I do feel like downloading the app is a little unnecessary. Other than that, customer service at Best Buy was really good and helpful!

Regarding the noise-canceling feature, it's important to note that noise-canceling technology is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.
As for the app, it is designed to enhance the user experience by providing additional customization options and features for the headphones. Since I bought my headphone I am using it almost every day morning when I'm walking, in kitchen when I'm cooking and night when I sleep. I am in love with it and it is worth it every penny!

Headband Issue

So definitely remember to pay for a warranty because these headphones are too expensive not to have one!

An improvement over the XM4s

ANC is top notch and the sound quality is markedly improved. As usual, Sony tends to have a warmer sound so ideal for me when listening to jazz. Will be my travel to to headphone.
