Definitely recommend, only down side is they aren’t sweat proof , so I can’t workout with them.

Very good but not exceptional

The material on the ear cups is finger print magnet. 2. It feels so hot after using it for an hour so. I was sweating after using it for a couple of hours. 3. The case/folder is very large and cumbersome to carry it around. 4. The noise canceling and audio quality is excellent but not exceptional or any better than from the new Boss quiet and apple earMax. Overall very good headphone with some flaws.

Great Headphones

They sound better than my older pair of Bose headphones. Just wish they made them with a better material around the ear that had moisture wicking material. I use them when I mow and I tend to sweat and they slide off at times.

Blue Tooth Issues

My issues with these headphones is the blue tooth constantly disconnects. Also, the noise canceling quality is not very good.

We're truly sorry to hear about your experience with the Sony - WH1000XM5 headphones, especially regarding Bluetooth stability and noise canceling performance. We understand how important both of these features are, and we'd like to share some tips that may help.
For Bluetooth connectivity:
- Please ensure your headphones are updated to the latest firmware using the Sony Headphones Connect App.
- In the app, you can also set the set the headset to “Priority on stable connection”, which can reduce the audio/Bluetooth dropouts.
- Try to avoid using the headphones in areas with heavy wireless interference, such as near microwave ovens, crowded trains, or when surrounded by multiple wireless communication audio devices.
For noise cancelling performance:
- Make sure the headphones are properly fitted and fully sealed over your ears—this makes a big difference in blocking outside sound.
- In the Sony Headphones Connect App, use the "Auto NC Optimizer" feature, which adjusts performance based on your environment and personal fit.
- Double-check that Adaptive Sound Control isn't automatically lowering noise cancelling in certain situations; you can manually set it to "Noise Canceling" using the app for maximum effect.
