Subpar Experience

I still own and emphatically use the Mx3's. The 6's are pathetic compared to the sound and build quality of the former headphones. I really wanted to like the 6's, but if you have a discriminate taste and want your music to sound a certain way, these may not be the ones for you. I had other people test the 6's to see if it was just me and they agreed the 3's and 4's are better. Even after messing with the EQ the 6th did not compare. Unless you just want something to listen to music with, I would skip this version.

I bought these not at a sale and almost a month later saw that they were on sale. Best Buy does price match with purchases as long as it fits the qualifications, so I talked to Best Buy support and they refunded me the difference with no hassle!

Fine in comparison to XM4s

The sound quality remains stellar with clear highs and deep bass you can feel. The biggest con is that I cant fold these up like the XM4s, otherwise these do very well if these are your first nice headphones. If you are upgrading from the XM4, its pretty much a coin flip, but if the XM5 will be your first nice headset, its worth every penny!

Great sound quality, Not ideal for phone calls

Unfortunately there is a well documented issue with feedback (echo) when you speak into the headset. I tried all the fixes listed on the Internet forums but it didn’t work. I returned it and went back to my Bose headset.
