Great sound quality, Not ideal for phone calls
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound but I needed to use this as a noise canceling headset for phone calls. Unfortunately there is a well documented issue with feedback (echo) when you speak into the headset. I tried all the fixes listed on the Internet forums but it didn’t work. I returned it and went back to my Bose headset.

A little long on tooth, I read the Best Buy and online tecnical reviews. And bought the XM5. No comparison between both but thanks to Sony for great products.

I am almost 80 years old, with hearing loss. I tested several models in the store, all sound pretty much the same. The kicker was the comfort - with the sony's you don't even know you're wearing them. I figured that if they were uncomfortable, I probably wouldn't wear them. Recommended.
