Good headphones

The headphones have great noise cancelling as well (enough to cancel out a crying baby on the plane)! I tried joining a video call and using these for audio and that was not that good. I could hear just fine but was told my audio was muffled. I like the ability to connect with an audio jack on the plane and these are very comfortable.

Very Great Pair of Headphones!

It is packed with features when you install the headphones Sony app so you’d be able to take control over your sound needs. Box comes with an Aux cable, a short usb-c charger, and they are well put together in a nice hard shell case for easy carry. Cannot beat the quality and I love this over the Bose headphones. Especially the battery when it lasts over 8 hours when I used them for the PS5.

The most effective headphone on the market

Such is the case with Sony's WH-1000XM5, the fifth generation of the 1000X series headphones, that were first released in 2016 as the MDR-1000X Wireless and have grown in popularity as each generation has improved. Sony has made some design changes over the years, but nothing as dramatic as what it has done with the WH-1000XM5. Aside from the $400 price increase, I think the changes are good, and the WH-1000XM5 contains a single key upgrade that is validly awesome, but others may disagree.

Returned the mx4’s for these

Thats my luck . After watching some reviews I didn’t know if it was worth returning thexm 4s and paying the extra $50. However having used both recently, I really feel these are in a Different class. They sound better, they are 1 million times more comfortable, and the active noise canceling is much much better. The difference in sound quality isn’t major and probably not worth $50 difference but the comfort and ANC Are worth that at least.

Best EQ set up in a headphone

The headphones jack allows me to use it with professional equipment to get the best sound out of them. The built in EQ is just perfect and I can adjust them based on the type of music i listen to or podcast. The noise cancellation is perfect, the phone call quality has improved tremendously, people can hear me very clearly because the eight microphones cancel all the outside noise. Just buy them!

worth the hype for a better price than apple.

Battery life is great, especially if you're used to older airpods which only have a 2hr life span. I use these for several hours every day and I only need to charge once every 7-10 days, if not longer. The "silver" color label is misleading – it's a lovely color but these are really more of a stone or light taupe with a hint of metallic shimmer.

Battery lasts a long time as well, and I’ve been using them pretty much all day long for the past month and a half.

Better then others on market

They lack sweat resistance and ways to be more stable while running and working out, granted they aren't meant for that really but if I'm spending a few hundred for these I would like to think working out wouldn't be a problem. Sound great and feel nice on my head.

Be careful when using the unit in the rain or snow, or in humid locations. When wearing the headphones, we suggest to adjust the headband and the earpads properly. These headphones actually support super-soft, pressure-relieving earpads in foamed urethane evenly distribute pressure and increase ear/pad contact for a stable fit. The goat is back

The sound has also improved a ton over the last gen with the new carbon fiber drivers and the app is incredible and offers great features and customization.

A good buy

These headphones are excellent - the buttonless control took a bit to get used to, but once I did, it was very smooth to control everything with just a touch. Battery life is also very good! Definitely would recommend!

Yes to noise cancellation, no to disconnection
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes the noise cancelling works, yes it’s comfortable. However, it is SO TOUCHY. If I cough, it disconnects, if I turn my head, it disconnects, even when I’m sitting still doing absolutely nothing, it finds a way to disconnect. I don’t know if I got a defective device since the reviews for this product is amazing, so I have no clue. It is somewhat disappointing. The app is up to date, and this was a gift back in March, so even if I wanted to return it and get a new pair, it probably wouldn’t work. I have AirPods but those always fall out, and when working out, I wanted something noise canceling that will stay in place. Well I got that, but I have to deal with disconnections all the time.

Please make sure to wear the headset properly. In order to prevent the headset from reacting incorrectly, stop music playback, making and receiving calls, and other operations cannot be performed when the headset is removed, even if you tap the touch sensor control panel. Also, if you put on the headset without adjusting the slider, the headset may not be positioned properly on your head, resulting the wearing detection function to not work properly and cause music playback to stop automatically or activate the automatic power off function (the battery saving function) to automatically turn off the headset. By using the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app, you can change the settings of the wearing detection automatic music playback pause and resume function and the wearing detection automatic power off function (the battery saving function).
