Oh my.... These are the best pair of wireless headphones I've owned. I was daily driving the wf-1000xm4 ear buds. But my ears get fatigued pretty easily. I decided I would get a pair of headphones to switch it up. Since I liked the features that came with the Sony xm4 ear buds, I thought I'd give the WH-1000xm5 a try. I've only had it for less than a week but I have become obsessed with them to the point where I spend most of my day wearing them. Sound quality is pretty nice, The ANC works nicely, The touch features are pretty cool, and The battery lasts ridiculously long. So as far as cons go, I can say that The touch feature can get annoying if you're just adjusting the headset. It doesn't annoy me too much but if it did the touch feature can always be turned off with the app. Other issues I have are software related, which are not deal breakers when considering the overwhelming positives.

Absolutely worth it! I bought these headphones to help me study in working spaces and for working out. They block out noise really well and the battery life is seemingly everlasting. The charge time to full power is super quick as well. I can wear these headphones for hours at a time without feeling uncomfortable. The touch functions on the side of the right earphone are easy to use, and it's really helpful to be able to switch between transparency mode and noise-cancelling mode with a touch of a button on the headphones too. The noise quality is great as well.

This is after using a few times. These are the best headphones I've used, but the last headphones I had were the first Beats Solo in 2009 then I had a Razer gaming headset. It's very comfortable and light. Sound quality is wonderful, good bass and clear audio. It's one of the most stylish headphones, Sony has nailed the minimalistic design. The versatility is great from using wirelessly or wired with different devices whether it's for gaming, music, movies and surfing the web. Wished I was able to wear it to the gym. If you can afford it, stop thinking about it and just get it.

The XM5s are probably the best over the ear Bluetooth headphones you can get. While the audio quality is not quite as good as audiophile wired headphones, it is better than lots of similar competitors. You can tell the bass is slightly boosted, good clean mids and highs, overall the sound is excellent for what it is. Good battery life, it will easily last a whole day. The noise-canceling is amazing on these, a must have for any air travel. I have had these for six months so far, and they have held up well.

Great sound quality and clean bass sound. Very comfortable to wear. The spacial recognition features really come in handy. Battery life is incredily long!

As a student, being able to have a nice and quiet environment to work in is crucial to my studies, and with the XM5's I can turn virtually any environment into just that. I have taken these headphones to school every day, including track meets and long bus rides, and I can vouch that these are super comfortable. No matter where I go, as long as I have even a little bit of volume on my music, I can not hear the background. I even use these as home since they are just so comfortable. I would say that they are on the pricy side, so it might not be the best choice for everyone. All in all, these headphones are great, and I don't regret getting them at all, I use them every single day, and I love the audio quality.

The battery life is excellent and they sound amazing! The bass really rattles the brain and keeps external noise at bay. The headset is adjustable and is comfortable. I recommend these for audiophiles!

Just about perfect. Bluetooth connects effectively, sound is great. They are lightweight and don’t apply too much pressure. I wear them 9 hours a day for work usually on meetings or listening to streaming audio. I do not wear them out to use with my phone. Phone calls with them are perfect. The charge lasts about two days with my usage. If it helps, I also wear external hearing aids, and these headphones fully cover my ears and the aids. No complaints.

the sound quality is very very good but the form factor is the best selling point. the matte pastelly reinforced plastic on the ears and the leather ear bits feel so secure and comfy but my favorite is the band. i have problems with headphones that feel too tight or create a weird vaccum that makes me lightheaded. i dont have that issue with these headphones. That does mean if i start headbanging theyll fall off but that doesnt bother me so much. the adjustment is a slider which i also love. They also sound really good plugged into my roland piano keyboard with the included 3.5 mm cable. these headphones are my best friend

Bestbuy staff were professional and kind. The headphones are comfortable to wear. I wear them for long periods of time without any discomfort. The rubber cushions feel great over my head. Build quality tells me that the headphones will last. Sound quality is superb. The Touch and voice control options made it very convenient because they give me a lot more control. Long life battery and fast charging. Thanks to everyone who contributed in making such a great end product an actual reality.

In a word - Wow. Love these headphones. My criteria for selecting headphones was Quality of sound (Crisp highs and powerful clean bass) Comfort and Noise canceling. The XM5 delivered all three. If I had any wish, it would be to figure out how to keep from getting warm after extended use. So pleasantly surprised at how light they are and to deliver such rich sound. Second surprise was the simple but effective controls. Finally the quality of the noise cancelling was amazing. I can sit in the living room with my wife watch her show while I listen to music or watch my own movie and never hear anything but what I am supposed to. They are pricey but if you are particular, they are worth it.

I use the XM5 for both my Windows Laptop and iPhone. It's amazing! The fact these headphones have 30 hours' worth of battery life, and customizable EQ settings (they only apply to my iPhone) make this worth my $400. Yes you can use the XM5 with Windows. I have not experienced any audio/visual delay during use. You can configure the headphone properties in Sound settings, and enable bass boost if you like. From what I can hear, the EQ settings I configure with the Sony Headphones only apply to my phone, not my laptop. Nonetheless, if you set them right, you can make one of the best listening experiences possible. For loud work (i.e. vacuuming the house), they do an excellent job cancelling noise. The case is stylish and easy to use. Unfortunately these headphones don't fold like their predecessor. Overall, this product is awesome. I'm glad I bought it.

The headphones work spectacular I’ve had them for multiple months and I’ve never had an issue. The headphones play audio perfectly and when I use them I can’t hear anything else. The headphones quality are really good and they are really comfortable. I wear them almost everyday and I’ve never had any problems with charging them. The headphones are perfect and I’ve never had any problem with them.

I use these headphones mainly for travel and sometimes music at home. I debated between the Bose and Sony. Ultimately bought the Sony. Pros: Excellent sound quality for movies and music, comfortable ear pods. Easy to use touch and button features and app to fine tune sound. Love that I can plug in for hardwire connection; and I have used that capability a few times. Battery life is very good and it connects to Bluetooth easily. Cons: If you have a smaller head, you may not be able to adjust the fit small enough. The pressure then sits on the top of your head and that can be uncomfortable after a couple of hours. Bose was the same as far as fit. Also, noise cancelling is good but not exceptional. They don't fold up for smaller carry size. Would have been nice, but not a must. Does make them a little clunky to carry around.

Very light! I wish they were a little heavier just so that they felt more premium. I don’t really like the connectivity of it but they provide great sound!

Absolutely love wearing these whenever I get the chance. Go too travel headphones for roadtrips and working out. Great battery life, light weight, and always feel secure on my head. If worried about sweating with these just grab soft silicone ear covers on amazon and it’s like they’re not even on there.
