Best Buy told me to contact Sony myself regarding any warranty. I should have bought them on Amazon, I could have exchanged them no problem.

1- Set the Sound Quality Mode to "Priority on sound quality" using the Sony | Headphones Connect app
2- Set the 360 Reality Audio function, as well within the app
3- Use the equalizer setting to adjust the sound to your preference

Best Wireless ANC Over-The-Ear Headphones

I didn't think they could top the XM4's (I have a pair of those) but of course they did. Audiophiles, listen and be immersed in best over-the-ear headphones on the market today. Pretty much everything, every feature of these headphones are excellent and work extremely well. I've tried other Wireless ANC over-the-ear headphones from other manufacturers and they simply can't compare--they're a combination of heavy, uncomfortable, too tight or too loose, have subpar sound quality, subpar noise cancellation, and/or the buttons/touch features do not work well. The fit and feel of these are so comfortable, it's like pillows on your head and ears. They don't weigh your head down, nor do they pinch your ears. The touch controls work fabulously and are a breeze to use. I don't use headphones for calling, but I tried it out and that feature also works well. Battery life is superb; no constant need to recharge every night. But what is the ultimate best feature of these headphones? The sound quality, of course. I have Sony soundbars, a subwoofer, and rear speakers, and they produce the best sound quality. These headphones are just another testament to Sony's dominance of the audio market; they sound the best, hands down. For all its techie features, it all boils down to if the sound quality delivers and it certainly does. The only little thing that I miss from the XM4's is the foldable feature, but I can live without it.

They turn themselves off while I am in the middle of conversations. They also make me sound like i am in a tunnel under water, according to those with whom I am speaking.

Posted .Hi Dissatisfied, we regret to hear that the headphones had to be returned. This is definitely not the experience we'd like you to have. If the headset is turned off automatically, we have troubleshooting steps to fix the issue:
When you wear the headset over a cap, cloth, a scarf, hair, etc., wearing detection may not work properly. The automatic power off function may trigger and the headset may be turned off automatically. Wear the headset so that your ears are inside the earpads.
When the automatic power off function is set to [Do not turn off] on the [System] tab of the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app, wearing detection will continue to work and the symptom may be improved.
Make sure the battery is fully charged.

Do not buy these headphones. They are cheaply made

Today the earpiece came off the frame. Customer support called it a cosmetic issue. I think a $400 product should last longer than 9 months.
