Very Nice Basic Headphones

You get Sony quality at a low price. There’s no noise cancelling or other premium features, but if you want some really nice “Sony quality sound” you’ll find them in these headphones. I was pleasantly surprised by the base reproduction. They’re very light, and easy to pair with your device. I just turned on the power, looked for “WH-CH500” while my Bluetooth phone was searching, found it, clicked on it and it was done. The Bluetooth range was very good. This is important because these phones cannot be connected by wire. You must use either Bluetooth or NFC to listen. Another important feature is battery life, and the WH-CH500 comes through. You should be able to listen for up to 20 hours, which for anyone should be good for the whole day. You can charge them up at night with the enclosed USB cord. In short these would be fine headphones to use where maybe you don’t want to bring your $500 phones if you have them. Pleasant listening at a reasonable cost.

Difficult to operate

The noise can be heard outside to others even if I am listening something on low volume, that defies the purpose of headphone and it causes nuisance/ disturbance to others when travelling or in public place. The piece I got will not connect to my laptop and no other device, even when my laptop is not on. So I have to replace with other Sony headphones which cost me $40 extra. All in all not a good experience with the product
