Great sounding headphones at a modest price point
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed. These headphones initially appealed to me because of their slim line design. Having had bad experiences with bluetooth headphones in the past I wad wary to try them but went ahead anyway because I've had good experiences with Sony products in the past. From syncing to using the power / play / pause button everything feels very intuitive and very quickly manipulating the headphones very straight forward controls became second nature to me. The battery life is outstanding as well. Once thing I was concerned about was the on ear design vs. over the ear. I normally prefer over the ear, but they've designed the speakers in a way that lets you angle the earphones to have them lay flat against your ear, so as to avoid excess pressure on any one part of your ear. The result is a very comfortable fit. Highly recommend.

It's Music to my Ears!
||Posted .Sound quality is great! It is Bluetooth friendly on all devices (TV, cell phone, laptop, etc.) but remember folks, not all devices have Bluetooth built-in. Ex, my HP laptop with Windows 10 doesn't have Bluetooth built in, so I bought a USB Bluetoooth adapter dongle, plugged it in my laptop and that took care of that problem! I love my headphones so much and love the price that I paid for them! Honestly, it's worth your money! I recommend them to anyone who loves great sound quality and enjoys easy set up to use their headphones!

These are only alright
||Posted .I've been a fan of Sony headphones for good quality at a reasonable price. Some PROS: - decent sound quality; good bluetooth connection - lightweight; earpieces swivel horizontally for a better fit But there are considerable CONS: - the headpiece seems like its built for such a small head. I have to pull the earpieces so far apart that I'm worried I may break the entire headset. Due to this tightness, the headset creates a skewed earpiece angle that adds more pressure near the bottom of the ears. - no auxiliary ports I think the cons outweigh the pros at this price point. I've since returned this pair and instead opted for a much cheaper wired Sony set that feels MUCH better.

Sony Sound is Sharp
||Posted .There’s just something about Sony headphones, the sharpness off the sound, that I can’t seem to satisfy with any other brand.

Great headphones
|Posted .One good thing that I like about any headphones from Sony is their long battery life and this these WH-CH500 headphones are no different. I upgraded from LG HBS-F110 to these and the difference in battery life is literally as day and night. LG ones barely lasted 3 hours but these Sony headphones have been up and running since day 1. I haven't even charged them once. Took them out of the box and been using it for almost 2 weeks now. My iPhone is still showing full battery sign for them which is incredible. I only use them for about an hour everyday though. Sony claims they will hold charge for up to 20 hours and I am pretty confident that they will, at least for me. Setup was a breeze. They connected immediately with my phone and never had any problem reconnecting them any time. That is one issue I faced most of the time with LG headphones. Control buttons are also nicely placed and you do not have to struggle to search for them while wearing these headphones. I got used to them after 15 minutes of use. Now on to the sound quality. I am not an audiophile, not even close but I can guarantee you that these headphones will not disappoint you. I mostly use them while working out in the gym and they sound incredible. The sound quality is comparable with other expensive headphones from Sony. These are not noise-cancelling headphone but honestly, you can hardly hear anything from outside when the volume is about half way. Another good thing about using them while working out is they don't fall off while running which was my biggest issue with the LG headphones. They just didn't stay in the ear. They are very lightweight, which was a huge plus for me while working out. I've made call through them only once and it was flawless. No hearing issue on either side of the call (me and other person). Sony has made storing of these headphone very easy. The ear-cups can rotate and line up with the headband, which makes them flat and much easier to store. Inclusion of a storage case would have been nice but for $80 price tag, it's too much to ask for. To sum-up my review, I would definitely recommend these headphones to everyone, specially because of their low price. I mean it's very hard to find a decent pair of headphone from a reputed brand under $100.

Comfortable and Good Sound Range
|Posted .Pros: Comfortable Great Treble Sounds Good Bass Sounds Easy Access to Control Buttons Cons: No Fast Charging Mic Sensitivity / Clearness Average Battery Charge The Sony Wireless Headset was very comfortable and had a good range of sound when listening between different genre's of music. My only concern is there is a little delay through the Bluetooth and the headset. It is not noticeable when streaming music however if you are playing a game that has quick time alerts you will see it on the phone screen seconds before hearing it within the headset. Otherwise the headset puts out good high treble levels and good bass levels The mic on the headset is nice however will become hard to hear if in windy areas. There is a nice feature of using the Android NFC option via phone camera to link up to the headset however I found it just as easy to enable Bluetooth and locate that way. The product says battery life is 20 hours, however after heavy usage it was more like 15 hours which is not bad. Unfortunately re-charging does take some time as it appears it does not have a "fast charge" feature. Overall this is a nice product that is reasonably priced.

Good headphones
|Posted .The Sony WH-CH500 Wireless headphones are comfortable, although the cushion is a little too small. The size and weight is excellent to store in a backpack or medium purse. The quality of the audio is good, although they won’t completely block out the ambient sound as much as one would expect unless the volume of the headphones is raised up to a high volume. It is quite simple to connect the headphones via Bluetooth to another device, and the battery life lasts a decent time-about an entire day. Of course, battery life does depend on the use of the product, but I believe for general use the battery life is fair. Overall, this are good headphones for small or medium size heads and we are satisfied with the product.

Q: QuestionTried to use these on an overseas flight, plugging in with a usb cable. Nothing happened. Couldn’t get them to work. Do they not work plugged in for watching movies while flying?
Asked by Smithy.
- A:Answer Hi, Smithy! Unfortunately, it is only designed to be wireless. The cable is for charging the headphones. You may want to consider the WH-1000XM3 which gives you the option for a wired connection.
