This is probable one of the best items i have bought from Best Buy. The base and noise cancellation on this thing is phenomenal. I would definitely recommend it. Great for airplane and long car rides, or if you just want to work and lock everyone else out of your head. The earmuffs are very comfy. They are sorta leather like so if it gets greasy its easy to clean. It kinda gives me the impression that it will strip after a while and that's my only concern about this item. Other than that it is perfect.

Comfortable fit. Intuitive on ear controls and decent noise cancelling. The base on these is pretty good too! I was surprised.

Even though Sony has released two advanced versions since this one, I had decided to grab one due to the price (USD 80 + tax, Thanksgiving price) . Sound quality and battery life are simply awesome. I had a chance to compare this with my son's most recent model (Retailing at around USD 270) and the audio quality is almost same, however the advanced model lets you hear the other sounds in the ambiance/environment - taking audio fidelity to a different level. Suggest you to grab one! I am sure its gonna last a long time!

I was able to get these $199 headphones for $99.99 at Christmas. It is lightweight, fits my ears perfectly, are wireless, and size adjustable. You can download an app to personalize different functions in sound and useability. You can connect it to google assistant and ask questions through the microphone. The only downside is the noise cancellation which could be better but that’s common in headphones that are less than around $300. A disappointment is that it doesn’t come with a protective case even at $200. I bought a very nice case for it on Amazon.

These sound fantastic. I'm so happy. They paired right up with my iPhone and worked great. The battery lasts forever, and they're very comfortable.

I like to listen to audio books a lot. These noise canceling Sony headphones are comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. The combination of noise canceling and a volume capable of overcoming the noise on an airplane and while mowing with a gas powered mower, is excellent. My wife likes that she can’t hear what I’m listening to, while seated near her. I haven’t tried to figure out how to answer a phone call yet. I have been using these for about nine months without issue.

Great battery, decent sound, and super comfortable to wear all day. Easy to pair. Doesn't store super small though. Great value.

Picked these up when they were on sale for half off normal retail. Even at full price they are great for the money. Comfy, amazing sound, long battery and quick charging.

Meets my expectations, good sound and noise canceling, without having to go up to the + $300 price range. Very comfortable on long flight. These are the first noise canceling headphones I've owned so not sure what to expect. The category is noise canceling not noise eliminating. Noise canceling does not eliminate all background noise or voices just as described in other reviews which turned out to be just fine. Great improvement compared to quality ear buds used previously. Bought on sale, like them and would buy again.

Lightweight and sounds great. Able to wear throughout an entire movie without feeling it. Battery holds up well. Noise cancelling pretty good.

So I got these headphones at a third of their regular price on a one day deal of the day sale. I still spent a lot but I’m glad I did. The quality is great the battery last forever. I want to say I’ve watched 20+ Hours of TV with them and they’re at a medium battery status right now. They are big so it’s not easy to lay back with them on. The only criticism I have is the blue blinking light. During the day and at night with the lights are on it’s not noticeable. Only when I watch TV in the dark close up I can see it blinking. It doesn’t bother me so much but it is to know

Comfortable, great noise reductions specially good at high and low tones which I face with most headsets. Only drawback, not loud enough at max volume.

The sound quality of these headphones is amazing! I wear them in my workshop when I am running the table saw, router, miter saw, etc. and there is little to no outside sound. When I am podcasting these are my go-to and they have been perfect from day one. Lightweight and comfortable around the ear, I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone looking for a nice set of over-ear headphones.

First over the ear headphones. Upgraded from jvc reflex contour 2's (best in the ears for under $100) I think the Sony's will get hot in the summer. I wear headphones 8 to 10 hrs/day. I love not having to worry about charging my headphones for 3 days. I wish I knew how much better the noise cancelling was on the more expensive headphones. I can definitely hear a lot of ambient noise between songs. Otherwise, the music quality is impressive with good bass. Customization through the app is a nice feature but factory setting are best

Sounds good. Once fully charged, it last forever. Very comfortable to wear. I can wear this all day long!

I needed these to protect my ears during a noisy frequent train commute. On the plus side, they do reduce noise to a great extent, especially the constant high-pitched noises that the train makes. But they don't completely block it, even with music playing. They don't come close to blocking people's conversations, I'd say it's more like a muffling. The JBL model at the same price was better at blocking sound but they were out of stock and I figured the Sonys would be less of a theft target as well. The bluetooth and other functions with these work very well, no complaints on operation.

These are a great pair of earphones. I love the option to switch between wired and wireless. But the bluetooth connection button is confusing. Press once, and it toggles between ON and OFF. You need to hold it to switch on bluetooth connectivity. This functionality can be combined, and has been combined in other headphones. The noise cancellation is good for this type of headphone. If you want out-of-the-world noise cancellation, you'll need to buy Bose, and pay through your nose. I've not yet faced any issues with the battery, but then that may be just because of my usage pattern.
