Get them while they are on sale!

These headphones are absolutely amazing! Pure and simple. Get them while they are $70 off and you will have that much more to brag about. The sound quality is absolutely terrific, and it can be tailored to your exact needs with the Sony app. The fit is great, not too tight or loose. I wore these for over 3 hours after I got them with NO discomfort at all. The controls are simple but they do not have the swipe on the ear pad for next song, etc. To me that is OK. You can still skip songs, turn the volume up or down, and take calls on the headset with buttons designed for that. Call quality is really solid too, talked to my wife for 30 min with them on before telling her I was on headphones. She was impressed with the microphone quality. Another thing I like is that they have great volume, they do TURN UP. They have much more volume than other brands I tested (if you want a good amount of volume then don't waste your time or money on the $350 Sennheiser or the $399 Bose....) The volume on these is clear all the way up too, so turn it up if you want to rock out. Overall I am extremely impressed with these Sony CH 700N headphones and I guarantee you will not be disappointed with these headphones.

“Sometimes things that are expensive are worse.” Cheap quality, NO noise cancelling whatsoever, uncomfortable, terrible app, and expensive on top of all that. I ended up exchanging these for Sony’s cheapest $50 noice cancelling headphones and they are 10x better than these $130 hunk of junk.

Wanted and upgrade from my decade old MDR-XB500 SET.Looked good and had many pros and selling points on the box in store but after wearing them for more then 45mins, they cause painful areas around ears and the sound is very low quality for what they are. only 44khz. might try a different brand as times have changed

Can not use the product since it was never delivered. Was trying to connect to the help line, but gave up three times after waiting for more then one hour. Unfortunately, my credit card got charged and I'm now disputing the charge. Sorry - this is worst case for a customer.

I have to say, I am impressed by these. I wanted an inexpensive pair of wireless NC bluetooth headphones to travel with and I'm blown away from its performance. Surprisingly, they compare right up there the higher end ones like the Bose, Sony, and Beats. Deep rich bass and high tones sound great. I highly recommend pairing these with the Sony Headphones app to get the better range. The noise cancellation isn't as good as the top end models but for over a hundred dollars less than the price, it does a descent job.

In looking for a new pair of headphones I took the opportunity to spend some time with Sony's flagship - the 1000MX2 and I was impressed with the noise cancelling, to say the least. I also came away with a little bit of surprise at both the price and how unhappy I was with the touch controls. They stymied similar to some other more expensive pairs of cans I can tried. Enter Sony's new midrange offering. the CH700N appear at first glance almost a clone of the 1000MX2, just maybe constructed from slightly cheaper materials. After putting them on, I can tell you that the noise cancelling is active and works just as well as the 1000MX2 with no real discernible difference in noise eliminated. I did, however, notice a large number of different features between these two sets of headphones. Assuming it's Sony's attempt to keep the CH700N affordable, controls are all physical on these headphones instead of touch. Frankly, I like this better and feel that I'm getting a better response from these kinds of controls than from touch panels. Volume, Power, and Active Noise Cancelling all get dedicated buttons. Play, pause, Skip, Siri is all activated by a sort of ingenious control that functions almost as a dial/knob with pushes back and forth, up and down to accomplish commands. The Sony headphones connect app gives you more control over the noise cancelling and sound style but isn't absolutely necessary for the operation of the headphones. I paired with my phone without the app or any other instructions. I did notice I had to re-pair every so often, which could be attributed to the large number of Bluetooth devices I swap between. The sound was great and comparable to other Bose or higher end Sony's I've listened to. No complaints about sound at this price point. Other nice adds are the metal folding hinges and the extra supple leather ear cups. Overall these headphones are a great catch for someone looking for noise cancelling on a budget. You may or may not have an ear for sound, but you appreciate good materials and construction and sometimes use them for travel. These phones have unseated my most recent favorite pair of JBL Everests as my go to headphone.

    Hard to beat!

First off I would like to say I bought these on special for $99. I’m also kind of a sound enthusiast. I spend a ton of money on quality sound systems and I would have paid full price of $199 all day. I bought my mother the Bose quietcomfort 35 II for $299 (at the time) and these Sony’s blow them away (she wanted the rose gold color or she would have these). Not that the Bose are bad but the price to quality doesn’t compare. These are just as light, have a better battery and the sound is a little better. Same quality in highs but better bass in the Sony. I also have a pair of beats solo3 and they aren’t even close. A little heavier, hotter on the ears to wear, and the battery isn’t close to the Bose or Sony. Moral of the story, Sony is the easy win on over the ear headphones for the price. Just watch for specials to really take advantage of a good deal.

Noise canceling was not good unless music was loud enough to drown it out. Returned them with no issues. Ended up buying 1000MX3 instead. Much better.

These claim to have active noise cancelling but they do nothing. Even worse, the bluetooth connection constantly drops. I've had headphones that are nearly a third of the price that are better.
