    Super comfortable

I have tried quite a few headphones and when it comes to pure comfort none could beat this one. This headphone is mainly for people who want comfortable and lightweight headphones. The sound quality is pretty good too but the bass is not too great so it falls back on that. The noice cancellation too works really well. It has a dedicated button for noice cancellation on and off. Its features are pretty basic but I usually fall back on this one when I have to wear it for long hours.

    Comfortable, but Awkward Power Button

Bought Jan 28, 2019: Very comfortable , good sound, good sound cancelling. Price Point versus Bose is perfect. Now the negative (which seems easier to state): the power button on the left ear piece is located where I hit it if I adjust them on my head; they are air tight on head around my ears - so my ears heat up after a bit. I would 100% recommend these. I like that they completely cover my large ears. And are comfortable on my bald head.

    Excellent Sound - Great Value

I'm a musician and often use corded headphones in and out of the studio. However, I like having a good set of bluetooth headphones to listen to music on my iPhone or iPad. I had a pair of Sony MDR10RBT Bluetooth Headphones that lasted about 20 years until I broke the headband a couple of months ago. I looked at some of the higher priced brands, but decided to buy the CH700N because 1.) They sound great. They have great range plus you can make easy equalization adjustments through the Sony Headphones App. 2.) Very comfortable 3.) Long battery life. If you can get 90%-95% of the performance of higher priced brands for 30%-50% less, that's a good deal. Listening to music through headphones is very personal, but I think most people will be more than satisfied with these headphones.

Good audio quality, lacking in other areas

These Sony headphones are a mixed bag, having good audio quality for the price, but are lacking in several other areas. ===[ Audio Quality ]=== The frequency distribution seems fairly flat, which I like. The mobile app has an equalizer with presets as well as unlocked frequency sliders, which I greatly appreciate having access to. As for over-all quality, it’s solid at the price point, but as expected, doesn’t compare well to higher-end wireless headphones, where these have noticeably worse frequency differentiation, and I notice vocals in particular aren’t nearly as crisp. The maximum volume, while likely adequate for most, seems a bit lacking to me. Noise isolation/cancellation works well, though there seems to be higher than average sound leakage (that is, the volume of played sound experienced by someone near the wearer). The built-in microphones handled phone calls well, though significant background noise caused my voice (and the background noise) to be choppy, as reported by my testing partner. ===[ Connectivity, Interfacing ]=== Bluetooth pairing works as expected, and the Bluetooth connection was solid, with no blips detected. Connecting with and using the mobile app is straightforward. While it’s nice to have a 3.5mm stereo jack as an option, these headphones unfortunately don’t seem to support USB connectivity for audio input (whereas some wireless headphones provide this option, allowing an uncompressed digital signal at higher bit-rate and frequencies for better audio quality). I find the lack of USB audio input to be a major detractor for these headphones. I found the on-device controls to be reasonably intuitive and well-designed. There are no protective plugs/caps/flaps for the 3.5mm stereo jack or USB port. ===[ Comfort, Aesthetics ]=== The clamping pressure of these headphones is very light. This aids in comfort, but makes slippage a potential concern/problem. The cups are comfortable, but the band is extremely stringy on padding, perhaps the worst I’ve experienced among modern over-ear headphones. This is probably just me being persnickety, but the stitching of the cup cushions is so terrible as to look downright trashy. The separation from padding edge to the back plastic is randomly anywhere from 0mm to 5mm on my set. I attached a picture to give some idea of what I’m talking about. It is obvious enough that I noticed this immediately upon unpacking the headphones. ===[ Conclusion ]=== While many users will find these headphones to be adequate and worth the price, the lack of USB audio input is a decisive deal-breaker for me, and why I cannot generally recommend them.

I like these headphones for the color, long battery life and for the noise cancellation. The issue is that I can hardly hear that effect and the range of sound coming from my iphone is average at best. I think you would get better sound possibly with the 3.5mm cable but my device does not gave that option.

I’m not a music expert, but I think these are wonderful. I’m very impressed. I bought a pair for both my husband and myself and the sound is crisp and clear. The NC works fine and I love the comfort. I read all the other reviews before my purchase and I have to say that I haven’t found any of the negative issues that others have found. There is no sound leakage and the NC works as it should. I bought these while they were on sale for $99 each so I feel I got an extra bonus. I definately recommend these headphones to anyone and I’d buy them again even at the original price.

    Excellent for Music

I bought these on Black Friday for half price and primarily use them for travel while flying. The music streaming from Amazon Music is excellent. Great sound. Very easy to pair with my Android phone and iPad. Remembers the Bluetooth pairing each time. Battery life is off the charts; I literally have charged them once in two months. Comfort level is fine but I only wear them for 3 hours at a time - not all day. Have not used the Noise Canceling part at all so cannot comment. For $100, they were a huge bargain.

I am definitely a critic when it comes to headphones and these do not disappoint! I will never go back to headphones that do not have noise canceling again! These give you the vocal sounds, bass, and comfort that you are looking for. Sony makes the best headphones in my opinion and I’ve used Bose qc for awhile but once I tried these I notice the difference!
