I gave it a 4.0 because the sound is good, it's easy to operate, and it's really light weight. You will forget you have it on until it begins to slide off your neck. However, I do not recommend if you plan to wear it while outside in the community shopping or something. It will slide off your neck and possibly get lost.

    Love these earbuds!

I rarely review things, but I've had these for about 6 months now and as I was putting them in my ears today I thought about how much I like them. Yes, they have a wire between the two ears, which is becoming less common these days with AirPods become near-ubiquitous, but they also cost 1/3 as much as those. But they are much harder to lose, if I need to take one out I can let it rest on my shoulder instead of having to put it in a case or a pocket or something. The sound is great--even the bass. I've used Sony earbuds for 20 years now with my walkman, discman, minidisc player, iPod, and every phone I've ever had. The few times I've tried other brands, I've regretted it. I especially like the different sizes of tips that always come with them. The ear fit is why I'll never be able to enjoy AirPods, for example. There is one big negative. While I rarely use them for phone calls (I probably wouldn't even if they were perfect at them), it's important that they are NOT noise canceling. So sitting at home they are fine for a conversation, walking around they are just so-so, and in a car/bus/train, crowded room, or on a windy day, just forget about it. I have a hard time holding it against them because they are so cheap. But if phone calls are why you want these, you should keep that in mind.

I have had a pair of these for 16+ months and use them daily while working out. They have survived getting pulled off by tree branches on a trail run, dropped to the ground and kicked during aerobic rounds, and being stuffed into many pockets and gym bag corners. Still provide high quality sound and reliable Bluetooth connections.

They are good headphones. The only problem I have with it is, the part on the headphones where you could skip, pauce and play music, doesn’t work. Other then that the sound is great.

Perfect for music and audio books while in bed

I purchased this specifically to listen to music and audio books in bed at night. I don't like to turn on the TV and disturb my spouse. Great sound quality and I love not having to be connected by a wire to a devise that could end up on the floor while I sleep. I keep my tablet on my nightstand and that is what I connect to via bluetooth.

2 broken pairs in less than a year

I purchased my first pair from Best Buy, which broke within 3 months. I contacted Sony and had them replaced under warranty with my current pair. I just picked them up off my desk and the front half of the earbud fell off and exposed the wires inside. It's frustrating because the sound quality is good and they hold a charge pretty well, but they are horrible quality and break for no reason.

    These suck!

I wanted to like these; the reviews about sound quality and certainly the price made me optimistic. Well, having had them for over a week, and using them daily, I can tell you THEY SUCK. Yes, the sound quality is great, BUT the on/off/volume piece not only has an obtrusive flashing blue light when you're using them, but the plastic piece is so heavy and located too close to the left ear bud, that it pulls it out of my ear constantly. The flashing blue light is incredibly annoying if you're trying to watch video on your phone in the dark; in your left peripheral vision, the annoying blue light flashing is maddening. I couldn't believe this poor design actually sells. In addition, the cord is so short, if you're walking and happen to turn your head, the ear buds will pull out of your ear. Save your money and spend it on Beats by Dr. Dre. THOSE are awesome ear buds. If I hadn't left them on an airplane, I wouldn't have purchased these replacements on vacation. I'm going to toss these right into the garbage. They suck.

    Great product but....

I purchased this with the idea in mind to have something wireless, simple, and great functionality & sound. The earbuds was all of the above. Sound was great. But because they are flemsy and doesn't have a "anchor" of sort to hold onto the user. You can easily lose the earbuds, if you aren't paying attention. For that reason, I would prefer a different set of earbuds to where if they fall out of my ear, they will still be around my neck and not lost.
